CAIG DeoxIT D5S-6 Spray, Contact Cleaner / Rejuvenator, 5 oz.

My Taylor guitar pickup started making a nasty crackling noise when the button was pushed for tuning. After doing some research I found a video where someone suggested using this product. I thought it was a bit pricey but decided to give it a go. After one small squirt of D5, leaving it for a couple of minutes, the problem completely went away! Amazing stuff!

Was sceptical at first especially for the price but had some amplifiers with really crackly volume controls. Sprayed a tiny amount of this magical product into the pots and gave them a good rotation for about a minute. Hey presto not a single crackle or pop. I know it seems expensive but it really does work wonders and will definitely would buy again (although I suspect the can will last a while). Just need to find some more things to use it on.

This is a small can of spray (see photo), but it's what it does that counts.I bought it for cleaning the ends of guitar cables and the sockets on guitars and amplifiers. It made crackly sounding connections into quiet connections. I was amazed at how a very small squirt of this stuff onto the end of a guitar lead could get rid of annoying crackle.I now use it on lots of jack / socket type connections.It's only a small can and it is very expensive, but the thing that counts is that it works very effectively and as I only need a very small amount on the connection, it'll last for ages.I'd definitely buy this again.

The volume and tone pots on my guitar had been unbearably scratchy, and to my surprise this actually cleaned them up good as new! Also sorted out the input socket on both my amp and the guitar - although I’d recommend spraying the jack itself and then swishing it around in the socket, rather than spraying into the socket directly.Can does leak from the nozzle after use so just keep a cloth handy to mop up any dribble. Would recommend!

This absolutely saved me when I had spilled some lemonade onto my mechanical keyboard. I had read on many forums that Dexoit is the go to cleaner for all electronics and especially mechanical keyboards. My keyboard has the Cherry MX Blue switches in them and the shift and F4 keys were both sticking when pressed. All I had to do was spray some Deoxit into a plastic cup and then I used a syringe to put some inside the switch. After clicking the keys repeatedly the keys freed up and starting working like normal.I would highly recommend using this product if you need to clean your mechanical keyboard as it worked perfectly for me and should do for you.

It works perfectly, as expected. Used on a Technics MOSFET classe AA, job done nicely. Expensive but It works
