Beautiful!
I'm usually anxious to buy metallic/glittery threads online as I'm usually disappointed, but these are genuinely just like in the advertised photo and even better in real life. I absolutely love these, they are really adding an amazing bit of brightness, luxury and beauty to my embroidery and punch needle designs. Each skein is 12 strands but I find them trickier to use when split into 6 or less, just because of the way they are made which is normal for metallic or glitter threads to be tricky anyway! But I'll be buying these again for sure. Surprisingly very pleased with these threads.

Great value for metallic embroidery thread
Metallic thread is a beast to work with and I am sure anyone reading this probably knows this already. I have some cheap ones already and name brand $$$ ones too and they are all kinda the same. A pain to work with...That being said though this thread is nice quality, it didnt unravel the foliing like $$$ brand does when trying to separate strands, i was able to spool them all nicely without too much issue. I di see the scratchy texture being a slight pain when embroidering or cross stiching with it liek every other one. But I have found using shorter lengths makes them all less prone to breaking and wearing the foils off.I will admit I have not used them to stitch with yet but i plan on using them for a border on a piece I have been working on for a while. You can tell cheap quality though even before using it when spooling it if you have used it before. Being able to spool it without it falling apart and I did try threading a needle and it was pretty easy to thread as well. I think this is a good value for metallic threads that are pretty good quality. To be honest its hard to make even the expensive metallic threads look nice so ones that run a littlew cheaper are good to experiment with to see if they hold up better. If they give me any problems I will update my review.
