Great car cup, holds the heat but do not tip it as it leakes at the top!

Bought this item as a present for dog lover in my family and tested it out for any issues before I hid it away ready for Christmas. Upon testing it I found some parts mostly near the top of the tumbler did become hot however other areas stayed cool allowing me to hold it, the lid isn’t leak proof if it was to get knocked over. While the seal where it screws together is secure and water tight the sliding latch for the drinking hole was not and water did leak through the breathing hole and the edges of the latch. The biggest perks are that the outside almost feels ceramic and the images of the dogs are lovely. The seal where the image joins back up was unnoticeable unless looked for giving it a neat and professional finish.

Unfortunately it doesn't keep drinks hot. After 4 hours the coffee is just warm. I even pour hot water in it before the coffee to make sure the mug is hot but it still doesn't really work. It's pretty but that's about it. Also it leaks quite badly.

It does not keep my coffee hot!!! I’m very disappointed. When you pour the coffee in the outside gets hot so obviously it’s not thermal. I’ve just missed my window of return so a total waste of money!!!
