Have used since I was architectural student: still love this tracing for all kinds of idea propagation to my staff. It is so cheap and so useful uses layers like Photoshop (or Photoshop stole the idea of layers from bienfang). This is semitransparent paper. You sketch, jot ideas, then scan or photo it and email it to everyone. Say you have to furnish an apartment, you design the basic layout on one sheet, then on new sheet layered over the first one, you place furniture placements and ideas. If you need refinements, corrections, it is transparent material so you can overlay new layer on top of your sketch and rework! Fabulous.

I really like this paper for sketching out early concepts. Something about it makes me feel free to draft out half baked concepts and discard them easily for a better formed-one by rolling out a little more paper. I like the yellow/cream color, no particular practical reason, just speaks "rough concept" to me I suppose. I've had good luck with the Bienfang brand although I haven't tried any others. I typically use this on top of an A3 sheet of quad-ruled paper, which shows through and provides light guidelines, also cushions the pencil or pen somewhat. I would definitely buy again, although this roll will last me quite a long time expect :)

I ordered a ton for my office. They are very comparable to the other brand we were getting and much cheaper. Can see thru well, tears in right place when finished with a simple yank. Good quality and does the job. Boss is happy, I’m happy!!

This is an architect's standard tracing paper for design sketches, and should be in every architect's tool box. Same as it has been for decades, thank goodness for a manufacturer that has kept up its quality standards.

I’m a retired architect and wanted some yellow trace paper for a project we were doing and couldn’t find it anywhere. Staples had no idea what it was and there are no art stores nearby. Thankfully I found it at Amazon

I feel it is little bit thinner than I expected but paper quality is awesome and very useful.I like it.

Same as the bumwad I used for years in the design studio before CAD. Beats the heck out of using soggy cocktail napkins when ideas pop up. What more could one ask?
