First of all and most importantly, it works. This thing saved me a bunch of money helping my parents out with their main sewer line, then I let a friend borrow it who used it so many times (his house and others) he bought it from me with the promise I could borrow it when I needed it.It's not well built. It shakes, it rattles, things fall off (really just need some loctite blue on several of the fasteners). Basically don't expect Rigid for HF prices. Take time to educate yourself about what this diameter line can and cannot do, learn the purpose of the different heads you can attach, and go to town. Also, don't start and stop the spinner too much. It likes to stay moving, and things get disorganized in the drum if you start and stop it a lot.

Not good. Cable tangles as soon as it finds roots in the sewer line.I used it 2 times. First time I was able to untangle the cable. Second time cable tangled so bad that I still can't get it untangled.

Ok, let's all be honest here. You're cheap and have zero patience, that IS why you bought this am I right? I know it's why I did.Let me start by saying this machine CAN be great if you just know some tips. The goal here is to not seriously injure yourself or break the machine. I used this tonight to clear a 100 foot sewer drain of about 3 feet of roots.My opinions:1. Get the clogchopper attachment. It works well. My pipe is 4" and I got the 2" clog chopper and it just works.2. Always run this thing in forward. Use the auto feed until you hit something and then just work back and forth for a few minutes until it starts to move forward freely again. Whatever you do, if you feel the cable start to kick back, STOP! Back up a bit and GO SLOW back and forth. This is the point where most people who give this machine 1 stars screw up and blame the machine. If it kicks back for too long it will bind up and then you either hurt yourself or mess up the cable in the drum. Just chill at this point and work back and forth.3. This machine just doesn't have the power to auto retract fast enough to keep the cable wound evenly in the drum. Do yourself a favor and unscrew the wheel over the cable and just pull the cable back in while running the machine in forward. This is way faster and easier.4. Get the biggest, thickest suede or leather gloves to use with this machine and wear latex gloves under them. Wear crappy shoes.5. Give yourself a few hours and don't lose patience. It only took me about 45 minutes but it can take a lot longer. Hey, you're truly an amateur but you're saving like $400. It'll get faster every time you do it!

This drain cleaner was easy to put together. The instructions were not that great but it was well made , heavy, sturdy quality design. I purchased this to clear my main drain line outside after having a terrible clog that previously cost me almost 300.00 every time a plummer came out. It took about 2 1/2 hours to unclog only because I didn't realize that the instructions say once you hit the trap/clog to put it in neutral. Figuring out that part was a bit confusing. Once we figured it out it took less than 3 minutes for the line to clear , clog was gone. I was recommended a 100 foot machine due to the length of my main line, by a very humble honest plummer after seeing I was frustrated and spending twice as much for 2 visits to my home. I'm glad I did! Now we can do this ourselves and save the money.

Made in China haven’t had to use it yet but seems flimsy and looks like it would kink up as soon as you hit a clog .TOOLS ALSO LOOK LIKE CHEAP CHINA MADE JUNK but again I have not had to use it yet so I am being unfair!

We paid a plumber $400 twice within 8 months to unclog our sewer pipe from the house to the street. About 60'. The third time we clogged we purchased 100' Vevor electric snake along with a Vevor 100' sewer pipe scope. About $600 total. With the scope we found the clog, and with this 100' Vevor sewer snake unclogged the pipe. Someone has been flushing lady stuff down the toilet. That problem hs been solved! Of course the plumber never told us this was the problem. He said roots were the problem. He could come every 8-12 months to clean out the roots, or dig up and fix our PVC sewer line. $400 every 8-10 months or a few thousand Pipe "fix", what deal. We now have the tools to see and fix any problem like that again. Great purchase and actually very little work to figure out the problem and fix.

This product is a complete waste of time and money! I finally received it after waiting for two weeks. The instructional manual is so poorly written that it provides almost no information on how to assemble or operate it. However, after watching a couple of YouTube videos, I managed to figure it out.I decided to use it to unclog my washing machine drain, but the snake tangled around itself and became hazardous. It can be dangerous if you're not careful. I immediately stopped it and attempted to retract the snake, but now it's stuck and won't move in or out.I haven't even started using it, and it's already not working. I packed it back up and initiated a return. It's not worth the time or money.

The product works great out to about 40 feet. After that, the cable twists. Worse, the cable twists inside the cable chamber. Worst, there is no easy way to access the chamber, all you get are two little view ports that I can barely fit my wrists into. After the cable tangles, I've had to bury my hands into the chamber and wrestle the cable trying to get it to untwist. While tangled, it is very difficult to spool the cable either way.What should have been a half hour job, tops, has taken me 3 hours each time I've tried to use it. This last time, and the reason I've written this review, the cable would not even reach the clog I need to remove (it's about 85 feet out). I didn't even meet resistance. All the resistance there was, was the cable being spooled out.I bought it because it was 100 ft auger, but it is entirely unreliable past 40 feet. If you are like me and have a clog past 75 ft, buy a different auger.

Gerne schreibe ich ein paar Worte zu diesem Gerät.Der Rohrreiniger funktioniert tadellos. Er schiebt das Stahlseil mit hohem Druck nach vorn. Das StahlSeil bleibt auch formstabil.Nach der Reinigung wickelt sich das Seil auch bravorös wieder in den Behälter ein.Hervorzuheben die durchdachte Technik, der einfache Aufbau der Maschine.Und für alle Interessierte, die Maschine läuft unter 220 V 50 Hz! Diese Spannung ist aber nur am Motorschild ausgewiesen.

Quick delivery but dumped far away from the main garage (too heavy ?) box and packing crushed, the box was obviously dropped from an unknown height smashing the square stock on the machine that receives the handles, out of line by approx. 2 inches, fixed that, then wouldn't start, checked, double checked, found overload protection fuse blown, bypassed same, all working but a little noisy, sink was backed up for a week, going to use it anyway, performed as it should, fwd/reverse, etc... but "spade" accessory broke off in pipe somewhere, cheap metal not good steel, the drain is clear, wife happy, me not so much, but I.ll keep it for now for next time...seems large Items are a problem for Amazon or is it just my bad luck ? no problems with other, smaller items...Chris Goodeve Oct 16 2023

This product came even earlier than stated. Worked well to unplug our kitchen water drain. Would recommend this snake. Worded the one with the wheels and handle, glad we did makes it Easier to move around. Elaine R.
