SKYVIEW HD Small Eyeball Dome Camera Basemount-White Color

Great camera. I purchased to replace one of my existing four, which I’ve had around 3 years. It all of a sudden was giving a very grainy picture. I have had trouble in the past with compatibility with my DVR, and was happy to see that this has multiple different option. It arrived on time, packaged nicely with instructions. It is slightly larger than my existing one, but that’s not an issue it just meant I had to also change over the mount to the new one supplied. It looks start, feels sturdy and worked straight away. The picture quality is far higher than my existing other 3 cameras on the system. I may now have to replace them all!

Picture quality would be good except for some reason image is triple vision. Non of the camera or dvr settings can correct. Wiring is only short and re terminating hasn't fixed problem either. Shame because otherwise would be worth buying.Also, before using check for any swarf in the housing thread. They are not cleaned after cutting thread. This can jam making housing difficult to spin. I cleaned with silicone spray.Cheap cameras but its no good saving a few pounds if they are not fit for purpose.

Cannot say much about it as I couldn't get it switched to AHD mode, they never tell you but you need a TVI DVR to switch it to other outputs! So unless you have a TVI compatible DVR don't buy it. I have AHD only DVR so was unable to change over. I have to say one thing though the support was excellent and they did try and help me.

Had to buy a replacement for an expensive xvision ahd camera that got faulty due to water ingress, seen this for only £20 with good reviews and thought I'd at least give it a go. The quality is superb, excellent value for money and is crystar clear HD as before but for a third of the price paid for my faulty one.

Had these delivered and installed yesterday. The build quality is very good, thick metal all over. Night vision is very clear and bright enough to illuminate our driveway. Quality is as good as our cheaper cameras supplied with our kit however i may not be seeing their full potential as our DVR is only 720p. So far I am very please with this product and would recommend.

A very good camera and 2mp gives a better field of view than my older ones. The night vision is by default too high and faces are whited out unless you enter the menu and turn night vision down. A good camera and I will buy more to replace older ones.

This is a good fixed focus TVI camera. The 2 megapixel video images are as good as the more well-known​ brands such as Hikvision but at about 1/3rd of the price. It is TVI only and that's fine - it's exactly as described. Obviously you need to use it with a TVI DVR. I've bought these cameras over a few months with no problems. I am an experienced CCTV supplier. I would highly recommend these cameras.

This dome bracket is not one size fits all, it’s designed to screw onto the base of a metal housing dome camera. So the Annke dome camera I have would not work for this.
