Pros: 24 hours in. The product was able to begin filtering water within minutes of placing them in the tank. The water has no abnormal tastes or smells. It seems to be working as described. Of course, we are all here because the cost! Super cheap, seemingly reliable.Cons: The cons are psychological in nature. I can’t help but keep wondering if it is actually filtering out contaminants or if the water is simply passing through. I guess that’s the risk we all take when buying filters from the dollar store.

The order arrived on time in excellent packaging. I haven't used the product yet. I hope everything will be fine

I have bought these filters several times. East to prep for filtering. Fits the pot well and cleans thousands of gallons of water

Ended up getting a set of these after getting a gravity water filter here on Amazon that came with ceramic dome type filters, which were a lot better than these. The problem was I tried using compressed air to back flush the dome ones and blew them apart! Make sure you get a squeeze bulb pump instead to back flush any of these types of filters!As far as these go, I live in the country and on a well. The water isn't horrible,but the iron and sediment was plugging up my coffee maker. Again, these do great removing and filtering out iron and bigger particles but still allows calcium to get through. You almost need these and a set of carbon filters to do a complete filtering and get more of the fine particles.They work for what I need and again the ceramic domestic that came with my gravity water filter done better. I can't tell but I think with the plastic tops glued on they may allow some fine particles through as I see air bubbles around the plastic tops.Easy to clean and back flush. No major issues but there is room for improvement and the reason for my 4 star review.

Got 2 packs. 2 of the ceramic filters are cracked. One all the way from top to bottom. Let's the water bypass the filter. So I had 50% product failure open opening and visual inspection. Pathetic quality control. Both boxes had half the ceramic filters defective. I kept half the order to use to filter water for fish tank but I don't trust for human consumption. With 50% immediate failure. Who knows what it lets pass the un broken filter and who knows what it is actually made of as ceramic should not just be cracked with no damage to package. It was packed well. I will post a pic and video soon and if it kills my fish I will add to the review.

Easy to install and I will definitely buy again

They seem just as good as the Berkey brand, for a lot less. Just as simple to use.
