Nicely made tool but too short for a Mazda 3
I would like a longer version but overall a nice addition to the tool box. Too short for a Mazda 3, even when reversed.

will not work for some vehicles
Bought to use on 06 Toyota Corolla but would not work. Ended up making my own.

Solid tool at a good price
This is a pretty nice version of a tool where similar ones are manufactured by many different companies. Because it is pretty basic, I selected this one largely on price and delivery time. But I received a quality tool. It has a nicely finished aluminum frame, with magnets on the ends of each leg. That didn't help me when measuring my aluminum master cylinder (although many are cast iron so they'd help there), but I was able to measure anyway. On my steel brake booster the magnets were very handy. The only criticism I have is that the locking screw doesn't lock the measuring rod very securely; if you're not careful, the rod may shift when you're moving the tool from one measurement to another.

Lower Ratings Not Tool Related But Application Might Want to Read.
Working on a Honda CRV 2003, the long side or the H is not deep enough to get the pin in the master cylinder without shimming with a large washer. Then the Pin was too short to get a reading on the booster pin. I had to flip the depth pin around in the H ( install it backwards) and do a lot of measuring and math. It was useful when assembled correctly to take measurements on the booster rod and set it to the height of the OEM one removed. More the application than the tool itself which is quality enough to attain accurate readings. Had better luck using a depth gauge and dial caliper and a lot of math.
