But with that said, just use matte black enamel spray paint with a poly topcoat if you need it to last longer. Or stay with the brushed nickle that lasts forever it seems. I always keep an offset unit on hand for times when the plumbing just can't go where you want it. Draining is great, but remember to clean regularly as most soaps and shampoos build up and can cause a slow drain. In the 5 years using, I haven't had one rust yet, but the operative word is yet, even when paint has come off.

This came so quick! Perfectly rapped, great brushed gold finish with off set drain, since my shower drain has trass in the middle of shower, needed to find something what I can optically center, but drain pipe will be on the side not visible . Will share pictures after installation!
