I love this product! Just the right size for 2 1/2 cups of coffee in the morning!This is the second one I have bought and it's for me this time. It is so sturdy,never breaks like the glass ones that fracture over time. It is insulated andquite attractive.

As a coffee connesseuir I enjoy quality hot coffee and the French press brew method delivers. But there’s always been the issue of unless poured and consumed immediately, the coffee gets cold quickly….this coffee maker helps to alleviate this issue.Keeps coffee hotter longer than glass French press coffee makers and is unbreakable as well. While I don’t believe it is truly vacuum sealed between the layers of stainless steel as the coffee does cool down faster than a vacuum sealed double wall stainless steel thermos or covered cup….it is a definite improvement over a glass French press which has no insulation whatsoever. It came with extra screens and gaskets which will help add to its overall life. The capacity of this particular one is 2 sizable coffee mugs. When I fill my kettle to boil water to make the coffee I also fill the French press with hot top water to preheat the metal and that helps the coffee stay even hotter even longer. I can also put the entire unit in the dishwasher for a thorough cleaning periodically.This coffee maker is particularly useful when there is no power and I was glad to have it when we awoke with no power from an overnight ice storm which left us with no power for several days. I can still boil water on my gas cooktop and make fresh coffee so my coffee enjoyment isn’t deleted due to no power so it’s handy and small enough to keep one of these handy as a “backup” if you prefer coffee from an electric brewer regularly.Also this can be used at room temperature to make great “cold brew” coffee or cold brew concentrate as well.Graduations for ounces on the inside would be a nice improvement to take out some of the guesswork of how much water and coffee to put in but once you know about how much to use and prefer, it’s relatively routine and simple to use.Finally it can also be used to brew loose tea or bagged tea as well to make either a standard tea service or a concentrate to pour over a pitcher of ice for iced tea by simply adjusting the amount of tea placed in the pot.

This coffee press makes about 6 cups of coffee. It is absolutely wonderful. When you press it and you pour the coffee it has a phone that it gives by how it presses. I strongly strongly suggest to get this one because you will not do wrong with this piece it's heavy duty it's durable and it is Sleek and it's design. It makes great coffee

I needed to replace a glass one-cupper that I broke...and not for the first time (I'm not too bright). This looks durable and it is. We actually had another glass one but it was not nearly a full cup of coffee. 12 oz sounded right.Made my first cup, put the screen in and top on and coffee came gushing out the spout. There is a very thick lid which made no sense to me.This is also too small. Consider the amount of ground coffee and the thick lid.To be fair, it is just right for my wife as she has about a half cup in the morning and it does hold the temperature well if you forget it's steeping

I ordered this product after I couldn’t find my French Press at home. It is very stylish, especially for entertaining. I ordered several other sizes as well. There were no cocoa grounds seeping through and it maintained the temperature of the liquid. It is also dry easy to use and to clean.
