So far an excellent camera and fantastic value! Easy to set up and good App that works really well. Bought a separate memory card that was easy to install.We wanted something that would provide a visible deterrent as well as alerting us to any would-be intruders. The 2K resolution is no joke. Whether it’s monitoring our front porch or the backyard, the clarity of the footage is impressive. Very well packaged, clear instructions and good quality mounting. The actual camera feels very sturdy and well made. 360° pan-tilt view, and auto-tracking capabilities, it provides a comprehensive view of your property and can capture detailed footage of any events that occur.One of the key benefits of this security camera is its auto-tracking function. This feature allows the camera to follow movement in real-time, so we never miss a thing. The camera also has a motion detection feature that can trigger alerts and start recording when it detects movement in the camera's field of view.

The quality of the image is much better than my Nest Doorbell. For the price this is a really great camera with lots of features.The built in light is quite bright and switches on with detected movement. You can choose to have colour night vision, infrared night vision in black and white or a smart setting that records in infrared until it detects movement and then it turns the light on and switches to colour.It's best to keep it in the smart mode as the infrared sees further and offers more detail. Then when someone comes into view it will illuminate them and because it tracks them it always lights them up.It's a shame if doesn't work with Google Home which would be really useful for me.You don't need to pay for cloud storage which is good.I don't like the fact you have to pay for 'AI' recognition. Seems a bit mean it's not included when the camera had the functionality built in.The tracking is quite good but it's disappointing that it doesn't also move up and down to track someone walking close to the camera, that would make it easier to record people's faces.Overall this is a really good basic camera for the money, it could be better with a few tweaks and upgrades but I guess you get what you pay for.

This is my second Topcony Camera. The first one has been installed for about 18 months and is working perfectly. With the new one, I had a bit of trouble trying to find an app to use the camera on my laptop.The mobile app is great but I wanted to use the camera on my laptop as well. I am using the Security Eye App on my laptop with Windows 11 and it works great and is quite easy to configure I chose the paid version but the free version works also. All the features of the camera work with great-quality pictures and smooth PTZ. This is a great value camera and I would have no problem recommending this camera to anyone.

I bought this a couple of months ago to replace an existing camera. I'm leaving the existing wansview camera up as the picture quality is so much better. I'm sure there are better cameras out there and I will eventually find one.

This camera is relatively small, a mini-CCTV cam as it were, but it is well-constructed from quality components, and seems to be designed very well and has been functioning seamlessly for me. It is certainly not "flimsy". It's body and antennae seem to be very robust and able to cope with most weather conditions. It is great that it is relatively small and unobtrusive, and I have used it as a secondary protection system for the lower part of my garden. The two short antenna tuck in neatly and unobtrusively and are fully adjustable directionally if required. I have mine positioned about 5 metres from my back door beyond a thick hedge and it covers a shed and work area a further 5 metres beyond. I am receiving a 76% signal with excellent picture quality. My router is inside my house 5 metres into my lounge. The signal is still strong and reliable through double glazing and double insulated walling between, with a distance of approximately 10 metres overall from the router, so I am really pleased with it even though it does not have a 5ghz band.The design itself looks rather unusual, but of course it allows for almost 360-degree coverage and does everything it is supposed to do very well indeed. My camera came with about 2 metres fitted USB supply voltage cable which allowed me to plug it directly into a waterproof external power supply box nearby, with no lead extenders or connectors involved at all. This was a real bonus as some of my other cameras came with only 50cm leads. I also received a USB connector to plug into the U.K. wall socket.The Topcony app is very well designed, well laid out and easy to operate. I found the connection a "piece of cake"; it worked "straight out of the box" with no problems at all, first time. It works as it should with excellent picture quality from the 3mp camera. The PTZ works a dream I have had no malfunctions, sticking or drop in signal in the last two weeks since I purchased it, especially as we have been through two storms and plenty of rain during this period it worked perfectly and hasn't missed a beat. Although it connects to the cloud it can also record to a Sd card held directly beneath the globe section, which is protected by a thick, strong and totally waterproof rubber flap.By the way, I have four other cameras, all much more expensive than this one, but this is the best, as it was very easy to set up, and it has been very effective and easy to operate in its general use.The app is also very comprehensive, including warning lights, a strobe, various alarms, siren, two-way conversation, automatic and manual settings, tracking and human detection, full colour night vision and many other features. All are very effective features which make this system very comprehensive and worth using.At this price point £30 - £40 you get a lot for your money and the overall specification is very high, so I recommend it very highly. It would still be excellent value in my opinion, at twice the price because of the high quality, and excellent design. Importantly, everything works together and integrates extremely well. It is such a good feeling when everything works this way. This company seems to be, so far, Top Quality!
