Waste of money
Loose, nothing pegs in correctly, gun falls apart if you look at it funny. Looks nice...as long as you set it down and don't touch it. Highly disappointed but was cheap, so..whatever

Hodl This Ape
I don't know if I lucked out and got one of the first-print Gaptain Gorillas, or if Knight has done running changes to address the stability issues reported in many of the negative Q3/Q4 2023 reviews, but overall I've had a better-than-average experience for a 4th Party transforming figure. With the usual arsenal of tools and chemicals for fixing up Transformers or Gunpla, you can tamp down many of the minor inconveniences of joints being too loose/tight - as advertised, everything that isn't a metal pin or Phillips screw is ABS plastic, and anything articulated can be reinforced with a thin layer of Pledge Floor Polish or Loc-Tite superglue (the CA stuff only - MEK just wicks off into vapor if it isn't sandwiched between two plastics to be fixed together forever). The one joint that isn't fixed so easily, sadly, is the bicep swivel unscrewed and photographed here - even a smear of CA doesn't seem to be enough to give the screw post enough friction to keep the rest of the arm from sliding back down from its own weight. What seemed to ease it for both the treated right arm and the untreated left arm, however, was pre-working the ratcheted pin joint that controls the shoulder height for Robot vs. Ape modes - clicking it through all 180 degrees of detents seems to release tension that otherwise makes the upper shoulder swivel try to bear all of the arm weight. After this, Gorilla was much more amenable to at least straightforward rifle hold poses.I'm still not sure what the ultimate purpose of those two extra black burrs with 3mm holes is - I presume they're meant to be barrel jackets for Gaptain Gorilla's clavicle cannons (see also the upper torso battery pack and spring-loaded missile cannons on the original Beast Wars Optimal Optimus), but the 3mm posts to fit them were never properly shaved down. A few minutes of metal filing could solve this for the adventurous collector, with what looks like minimal interference with transformation to any of Ape, Jet, or Tank modes.

Cool figure
This a cool little figure, looks awesome. I don't know if it’s just the one I got but this entire figure is floppy. It can stand on its own but I’m afraid to pose it with how loose the joints and limbs are, as well as the pegs that keep robot mode together not really working effectively.

Can't support its weight.
The ball joints in the hips and feet are loose making it unable to supports its own weight. Not all of the tabs fit.A loose shoulder joint can make things lop sided.A few parts, not needed for transformation, need to be glued together to stay on.Will need some nail polish to make this work.Look great.

Better than expected
Much better quality than expected. Heavily made plastic. Almost a metal feel. Joints move smoothly. Transformations very well done. Excellent extra features

Really really cheap
It's a bit nostalgic to look at, but that's it. It's loose and wiggly around. You can prop it on something to display it but it won't stand on its own. Pieces fall off when moving it making transformation a joke. This will most likely go in the trash and I would not recommend for anyone.Lots of very small part may pose a choking hazard for children.

Don't think about it, buy it!
This is an amazing Optimus Primal from the Combiner Wars. Holy guacamole! Super detailed, great articulation and he's a quadriple changer, bot, gorilla, jet and tank! Yo, I am super happy about this figure!
