This is the perfect laptop tray for a desk. My purpose is different but I have no doubt this would work on a desk just fine.Great build quality, solid as a rock and unlike some others for 10 bucks less, the tray doesn't wobble.It does have instructions.

Perfect for my desk that can be standing in or sitting on. Sturdy. Easy to adjust.

Absolutely love the laptop mount. The issue is with the upper cable management cover. When you lower the arm and raise it back up, the cover comes off. Held in place by cheap plastic slots. I have managed to hold it with a piece of velcro, but not what I had in mind. I can live with it.

I had just about given-up trying to find a good solution to keep my laptop off my legs while couch-surfing the internet. All of the pivoting side-couch products under $100 seemed too janky. I saw this option and its potential to meet my need and considered it for a while. I eventually measured the specs against my environment where I need to use it and could not deny it may work well. Honestly, for the price, I was doubting the glowing reviews about the quality were legit, thinking, surely, all of these positive reviews were only planted seller hype. But, I'm an Amazon Prime member; meaning, returns are much less of a hassle. So, I gave it a try.Assembly and mounting took me all of 30 minutes. It came with everything needed other than my pair of hands. I mounted this bad-boy to a sturdy coffee table; and, wow, what a pair! This thing is as solid as they can come and sleek enough that it doesn't look embarrassingly like a home grown solution. Even my wife who, when she discovered what I was shopping for and had said, "No! That will look tacky," had to admit it does not look bad at all.It wasn't exactly what I was looking for. But, it definitely fit the bill for what I need. And, installation was so easy, I can quickly unmount this holder (in about two minutes) and install it anywhere else I might find another need to use it.Thanks, Mountup, for such a quality build at a great price!

This holds my 15" laptop in place. Just needed to tighten up the bolts so the arms stay where I put it. Otherwise, great. .Just use the included strap on the top area of the keyboard to make sure the laptop doesn't slip off, and works great. I like the tube behind the arms that hold all the cords neatly so I don't have to worry where they are when I move the laptop up or down or swivel where needed.

Comfortable. I use on stand up desk. One small flaw: if using on a desktop standup, the bolt that clips it to the table does not allow the table to fully collapse, because it is too long. Other than that, brilliant.

I use this for my 17" and 13" laptops and it works as expected. I have charging coords for both running up the arm of the mount.

Used to mount a 16 inch MacBook pro to the edge of the desk. Firm enough to use the track pad and light typing. Adjustable tension. Doesn't sag stays put. Works like you expect it to.
