Love this journal. Love the texture & the cute this journal lock. Love that the journal inside can be replaced. Love that it comes with a pretty nice pen that glides smoothly across the pages & the little holding spot for the pen.

1st of all this journal is beautiful and heavy duty. Comes with two ribbon book marks. The pen very nice! So I was so disappointed when upon following the instructions the lock wouldn’t work. I wanted this to be able to privately write down my goals so the lock is very important to me. I came to the reviews and saw someone mentioned a YouTube video would help reset the lock. Hold the latch to the right side and put your new numbers in and release. No it’s not the most secure option but it works for what I need it for. The instructions that come with it are invalid if someone has already tinkered with the journal. Try what I mentioned or look up - reset journal lock on YouTube. This is probably one of the best, most beautiful journals I have ever had. And did I mention the pin is spectacular!!!!

I gave it to my mom as a gift, it's good quality, gorgeous and the pen works,I'll update if the lock works correctly once she sets it

I recently got into journaling and needed a book with paper that would not bleed or feather with the ink from my fountain pen and this paper is perfect. The lock gave me a bit of trouble after setting my code but it's fine now. The code override was impossible for me to figure out but luckily I got my code to work. The only other issue is that the book does not lay flat and makes it a little bit uncomfortable writing in. Still I think it's worth what I paid.

Got these for all our grandsons for Christmas to encourage journaling. They seemed to like them and I liked that they were sturdy and the locks were easy to set. One commented that it was a very grownup gift which was a compliment for the gift itself and made them feel important so a plus as far as giving.

Come on!! How can the lock just stop working?! It will not open to reset! It just quit. I have to throw it away since my “return window closed” and 45 days later I can’t get into my own journal!!! This is not good and I won’t suggest this one! I should get a refund! Plus I have personal information in that journal! What am I gonna send it back without getting it all out first but cutting the leather lock strap?! Don’t buy. So irritated. Apparently I’mNot the only one!

The media could not be loaded.  I'm not sure how else to put this but if you are in a season of connecting with self, finding self, experiencing loss, a rebirth, a transformation, an elevation- spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, this is the one. My passcode works flawlessly so no issues on my particular order, mine also came with a pen which due to other reviews I didn't expect it anyway. THE PEN IS AMAZING, it writes beautifully on the paper within the journal. Talking about paper- its phenomenal, the trim on mine is gold which goes perfectly with the red cover. The lines are wide ruled (so not thin like college ruled paper) I write a lot, in script and not big but I certainly do not have tiny hand writing. This journal makes me want to write more- now my only issue is the pen ran out of ink **vendor please help me replace the ink :)**(I've been writing in it since July 2nd- today is the 6th clearly I've taken my journaling seriously.) I have this journal to thank for that. If you are having doubts based on other reviews please go full faith with mine and do yourself a favor- bless yourself with this journal. Ive uploaded a photo of utilizing my journal during a Full Moon Bath ritual and a snippet from a video I created covering books and items I ordered from Amazon. Happy writing!

Love this diary & pen. The lock is a little iffy, but I don't keep it locked anyways.
