PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie: The Official Storybook

My daughter loves this book so much. She keeps rereading it many times. The diction is not too complicated, but the passage is long enough to develop the reading skill. It's a compressed version of the movie so the reading time can be quite long. Might nor be a good option for a bedtime story, but other than that, it's a wonderful book for kids to be engrossed in reading

A great chance to get this bookbefore the movie came out. My grandson loves it, he’s a big Paw Pattol fan. He especially loves the colorful illustrations.

So I'm a bit torn. My 3.5 year old LOVES the movie and also really enjoys reading the book versions of his favorite movies, but our first read of this one, he was super disappointed that some of his favorite scenes were completely skipped or glossed over. We get 2 whole pages of battling Humdinger and I think 1 sentence (no picture) for the pups defeat of Vee. There was a small typo in the middle part of the book, but nothing major. It just felt like they really rushed the last part of the book, trying to cram all of the climax and closure into 2 paragraphs. It was a bit disappointing. That said, he still wants to read it and there are probably a lot of kids that would be fine with it. The printing and pictures are good quality, and the summaries of the first 2/3 of the book work pretty well.

My sons favorite book so far after he watched the new mighty movie in a cinema. I personally like it too, pictures are good, story is very close to the movie. The only issue is - the ending is like cut off from the book. It seems like the author was writing, but then realized that the book is too long and just ended it in a couple of words. However, my kid doesnt care about that. So, 4 stars.
