Shuts down randomly when not plugged in
For $200 I thought this was a steal. For a cheap laptop, it is. But you do get what you pay for. Full disclosure, I only bought this laptop because I'm a photographer and I needed to be able to backup my photos while I'm on a trip away from home. And for those short uses at a time, it works. But when I first got it I was using it for normal computer use, but I noticed that the laptop would randomly shut down for no reason. THANKFULLY I started understanding this before I started using it to back up my photos. If the laptop would shutdown while I'm in the process of transferring, it could corrupt all of my work. So, in summation, if you are ok with being plugged in all of the time, this is a great laptop.

Great for the price!
For the price it's a great laptop! The speakers are forward facing and are amazing! The downside is that the start up is slow. If you need it for anything other than the basics I would suggest something else. But for me this is a great computer!

For that purpose it works great.
I have purchased several of these to be used very occasionally -- sort of a throwaway item to be used for employees in the field. For that purpose it works great.

I don’t rely on this computer.
One of the buttons already came off despite mild usage. Sometimes the computer has inexplicably shut off when no power supply is plugged in. I checked power settings in control panel and didn’t find any problems there, so I don’t know what the issue with power is. I only use this computer on my desk at home and wouldn’t recommend relying on it for continuous usage in various settings (as many laptops are meant for). I have an older Asus computer I got for a similar price years ago that works much better and feels far sturdier. I would return it but it’s not worth the hassle. I’d rather have kids use this computer and I’ll get another one for myself.

Don't but this item! I repeat, dont buy this item!!! ZERO STARS!!! Read the review, watch the video.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this laptop late 2020 because my youngest daughter was starting online school in 2021 so I wanted to be prepare before time. When I got the item I opened it and checked it out to make sure it was working, or so I thought. The price was good for the specs so I thought it was a good deal.I started to use it a few weeks after to do some work but then started experiencing it shutting down abruptly sometimes even when powering back on. Then the track pad buttons stopped working. Due to the time that passed I assumed that I couldn't return it. Even if I could return It, it would cost too much money to mail it as I like in Trinidad and Tobago and bought it using a skybox service.I am therefore stuck with a malfunctioning laptop that I have to keep plugged into a power source for it to work which doesn't make sense for a laptop. It cuts off unannounced and I have to always use an external mouse to use it. Wasted money and I didn't get any service for it.zero stars!!

Problems
We much less than a year ago, and we've already had to have it in the shop for a $150 repair because it started locking up and freezing whenever we'd show a video on it. I don't think I'd purchase this again, given the choice. When it works, it is okay. But the repair cost is prohibitive.

Great budget laptop.
It is a budget laptop, so the plastic isn't expected to be super strong. It is fast enough to do everyday stuff.
