When I ordered this Battery I was a bit weary as it is not a Dewalt original battery but when it turned up it was delivered before the estimated date and partly charged. I fitted it to my drill and it was a snug fit just like the original so I used it until the remaining charge had been used up, I then fully charged it with my Dewalt charger again no problem it fitted into the charger as the original, I have been using my battery drill every day now and find the performance of this battery just as good as the original. This in my opinion is a very good buy and I will be ordering more for my other old Dewalt battery drills with confidence.

Arrived on time and worked well

This fit the drill perfectly and worked well with plenty of power, it charged as the Dewalt did and hold its charge very pleased with the price although I did think maybe it was to cheap there fore rubbish been proved wrong..For anyone replacing the original battery its worth a go

Purchased this item as my dewalt battery gave up charging. Although not a dewalt item, works fine came charged up and ready to go. Would purchase another if my other battery's fail. Good price and arrived after a couple of days, would recommend if you need a new battery.

The 2000 mAh battery fits my DW907 Drill and, even though it's slightly taller than the original DE9074 1.3Ah battery (~8mm), two of these batteries still fit inside the original DeWalt carry case. The Amazon listing describes this battery as Ni-MH (Nickle metal hydride) but what was delivered was labelled Ni-CD (sic) which I assume is supposed to read Ni-Cd meaning Nickle Cadmium. My original battery was Ni-Cd and my original DE9118 charger is a Ni-Cd only charger. Luckily for me it's worked out OK. But, for the record, you should NOT charge Ni-MH batteries in a Ni-Cd only charger, they can overheat, undercharge or charge very slowly. Of course, it's possible it IS an Ni-MH battery with the wrong label; I'll let you know in due course if my house burns down.

Direct replacement for the battery on my DeWalt cordless drill/screwdriver that died on me recently. Arrived next day delivery and was already partially charged. Fitted without problems. Some reviewers had mentioned that the battery was a loose fitting. Personally I haven't found this to be the case. Battery charges fine in the DeWalt charger and seems to last at least as long as the old battery if not longer. I've only been using the battery for a week so I can't comment on how long it will last but at 1/4 - 1/3 the price of a branded battery I have no grounds for complaint.
