Helped in the day, but not for sleep sadly.

This l-theanine is great. Well, it is usually great! My 13 year old autistic daughter uses it for her anxiety. She can't swallow capsules so we chose this one as it has no fillers so can be dissolved in a bit of juice for her to take it. But this most recent batch the texture has changed and the powder is not dissolving completely in liquid, leaving a slightly gritty texture which my daughter is struggling with. The product itself is really good, especially if you swallow the capsules. I take it mainly for sleep but also sometimes if I'm feeling anxious or stressed during the day. It just helps quiet your brain a bit enough to chill out and settle down. It is expensive but worth it for a good quality, natural product with no fillers.

Calming effect within 30 minutes of taking it, but after 1-2 hours gave me a terrible headache that lasted 24 hours. I took one capsule and only tried twice. Probably not the fault of the product, but I guess not all supplements are for everyone!
