Easy to put pedals on and unlock legs. Make sure the rubber guards are on the flat side before use. I can't put my feet into the the straps so just put them on the pedals . I do put it against a wall because it's easier for me with my disability. But did try it just on my carpet as long as you have the rubber feet on the flat side it didn't move.I have it on the low setting and started doing 200 rotations daily for a week now so 300 and will stick with that .Helps strength my legs . Can squeak at times but that doesn't bother me. Don't bother folding it down as I use it everyday..

Good product easy to use
This came ready to use. It is sturdy and easy to store with the legs folding. Has multiple methods for measuring your performance on an easy to use digital monitor. The only difficulty with it is that it can slide on the surface so need to rest against something sturdy and then it works really well.

Small exercise bike.
I have recently completed physio to help with COPD and wanted to continue using a bike. This small, portable one is ideal and a vey good price. I will use it up against a wall to prevent slipping.

Great for small spaces
This is nifty for space saving. Folds up easy and is light weight. However, the computer doesn't reset back to 0. So it just continues adding on. So its hard to keep track of how long you have been pedalling. It doesn't have great grip on wooden floor, I'm forever moving it back, the resistance is poor and even for me the resistance isn't strong enough ( I'm using it to strengthen my hips ). Overall, it's cheap and kind of does the job. I can't imagine it's going to last long either as it feels very flimsy.

great for new knee
I ordered this as I was not getting the stretches I wanted in my new knee. (I had been naughty and not done the prescribed exercises for a couple of days. A couple of goes on this machine got me back to where I had n=been. So easy to use especially when you put anon slip mat under it.

Excellent for post knee op
It is value for money especially as physio after a knee replacement. Does not take up much room & folds away. Two things to note you need something to stop the unit from moving as you use it ( I rested it on the leg of a foot stool) . Do not expect a strong resistance on the equipment.Overall if you have mobility issues with your legs and you want to keep them moving while sitting this is an excellent piece of equipment and value for money.

Knee physio
Ideal if - like me - you've had knee replacement surgery and have lots of physio to do.

Even for an inexpensive machine, it just isn't worth it.
Honestly, I was shocked with how poorly made this whole exerciser was. The screws holding it together are rusty, the pedal bars get incredibly hot after a few minutes of use (too hot to touch after just 5 minutes), the resistance screw doesn't turn very far so you don't get to experience any real work out, and the machine slides away from you when you're using it (we have a thick carpet that should have prevented that).I should have gone with the advice of the other reviewers.I definitely wouldn't recommend this. Of course, an inexpensive machine isn't going to be amazing, but the ONLY redeemable features are that it is small and folds well.
