SANDISK Cruzer Glide 256GB USB-A Flash Drive

Works as expected.

I ordered this on a Thursday evening and it arrived early on Saturday.It's my third 64gb USB (the others are Integral: I find Integral and Sandisk to be the best). It's a bit large compared with some others these days, but I wanted it for plugging into my TV & playing MP4 media, and it's less fiddly than smaller ones so no problem.It wrote 1.43gb of data in just under four minutes, which is quite reasonable for USB2 and as good as any others I have. In common with some other Sandisk USBs, the fit seems a little tight if you put it straight into a USB socket on either of my PCs, but it goes fine into a Belkin hub or into a USB extension cable.For my purposes on this particular drive the security software is a tiresome inconvenience - the media is stuff which would raise no concerns if seen by anyone else. Deleting the security .exe file on this stick was easy enough.As with some other USBs, it's OK to remove it directly from the system as long as no files on it are open and no data is in the process of being transferred. Clicking on the "safe to remove" icon does initially produce the message that a program is still accessing it. This is because Windows wrongly decides it's still in use. If you're still uneasy about pulling it, running something like CCleaner to delete temporary files on your computer will produce the "safe to remove" message at the next attempt.All in all, quite happy with this. If problems arise, which on past experience is unlikely, I'll come back and edit this review.

Its okay I guess Its 59.1 Gb - To be expected with the sandisk software... It has LED's which add a nice touch to show that it is detected. Takes a little while to transfer items... But was exactly what I needed to transfer some files to.For a test I transferred borderlands GOTY - 10.8GB to the hard drive and it took around 13 mins to complete so wasn't to bad in terms of copying content.The slider doesn't fall out of place which makes it nice unlike previous hard drives I have owned... But its a hard drive..Defiantly a bit of Meh with the old price claiming it to be "£53.95" or what ever as I went into tesco's the other day and it was £19.99 a bit more expensive... But meh...Again a good hard drive does what its suppose to do came earlier than expected! Which was great.Overall a good product.

I have 3 SanDisk usb drives now and while a bit more expensive they always work.

I'm putting music on it via CDs to the USB stick on my music box, and it's easy to use and has lots of space!

Easy to use and holds quite a bit of data. Plug and play and excellent value. 5 stars.

Muchos gb de bolsillo a una velocidad bastante aceptable. Lo unico que no me gusta es el sistema de deslizar - retraer la conexion USB, ya que he tenido varios asi y acaban rompiendo, espero que este dure más. Por lo demás, cumple a la perfección su cometido. Sin queja de momento.
