NooElec Male PAL to Female BNC Adapter for EzTV668, EzTV645 & TV301U DVB/SDR USB Sticks

I bought a "NooElec Brand RTL-SDR, FM+DAB, DVB-T USB Stick Set with RTL2832U & R820T." and Amazon suggested this as a "frequently bought together" item. I wanted to use a good external antenna with my RTL-SDR dongle, and needed a BNC adapter, so I assumed this would be what I needed. Wrong. The dongle has a MCX antenna jack, and this adapter is for PAL-to-BNC. Oh well, live and learn...

Amazon recommends this adapter for use with the NooElec RTL-SDR dongle. This part has no relation to the dongle and should not be recommended for use with the SDR dongle. The adapter is of good quality, but doesn't work with and is not needed. Come on Amazon, get with t he program.

These adapters work great for use with the various DVB-T SDR Dongles with the Belling Lee / PAL connectors, they convert to a BNC, fit well and make a solid connection for your antenna.Don't get the Belling Lee/PAL to F adapters because you will still be adapting this to BNC afterwards, unless all your antennas are terminated with F connectors.

I've connected my ham radio antenna to it, and I can pick up weaker transmissions a lot better. aprs signals come through where they didn't before. I recommend this for anyone who wants to connect a real antenna to their rtlsdr dongle.
