It stays in place, feels smooth when hitting, and may reduce wrist pain.
It's the best dampener that I've ever used. It stays in place without creeping and gives a better feeling when hitting.

Great test set for different dampening needs
I'm only a casual tennis player, and play currently with 2 different rackets: an older Head Microgel Radical MP, and a new Head Gravity MP. The Radical is distractingly pingy to me, and the Gravity less so. This set of 3 allowed me to put the smallest dampener on the Gravity and the medium sized one on the Radical. That evened them out quite nicely (on fresh strings, at least). The largest of the trio was a little much, so I gave it to my son to use on his Wal-Mart backup racket that rings like a wind chime...took it from ridiculous to barely playable. Anyhow - these offer a useful range of dampening strengths, and now I know which one to buy for each of my rackets when I need a new set. They're a little finicky to attach (make sure the text is right-side-up or it won't grab the strings correctly) but once positioned they stay on well.

My Favorite Tennis Dampener
This ADV tennis dampener is my favorite so far. It has a great feel on the racket and does a nice job reducing vibration without making the strings feel too muted. It is also much easier to put on compared to many other dampeners I have tried. Once it is on, it stays in place well and feels secure during play. Simple, useful, and exactly what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend it.

Works as intended
Feels like almost any other dampener but does a much better job of staying secure in the strings. Kind of expensive compared to other dampeners but overall worth it since I shouldn’t need to worry about purchasing another one

My favorite damper
I had the variety pack before ordering this one and the medium damper was my favorite. If you have nice looking string set ups then the clear option is the best to help the look of your strings pop.

Definite Improvements to Play
Finally had a chance to use test these out (thanks weather!). My dampener experiences have usually been with those you find in swag-bags from tournaments... you know the ones - aliens, happy faces, or Babolat... obviously, these ADV dampeners are more mature looking, look like quality material, and overall just sends a more serious message than having those freebies. I like the clear crystal ones because you know it's there, but it isn't an in-your-face distraction. Playing with them also makes an incredible difference over the free ones. First, these fit tight and at no point did they fly off the strings (how many times has someone been like "have you seen my dampener?"). Not with these. They aren't budging. Lastly, the smallest of them gave me a super crisp feel when hitting the ball and is my favorite of the three. If there are any other ADV products on the way, I'll be sure to check them out. This stuff actually had a noticeable positive difference in look and feel.

For Oversize Racquets w/ Open String Patterns Only
I have put one of the three square damps on each of two racquets, a Prince and a Babolat, which both have 100 sq.in. heads (midplus). The damps push the two center mains apart on both racquets, so I can only conclude that these are made for oversize racquets specifically with open string patterns, which would have a little more space between the mains. I'm sure ADV is a good brand that means well, but I can't reconcile their lack of brand presence and neglect of indicating that this product is catered to a specific racquet class. For that in addition to the fact that they don’t fit well on a mid plus racquet with 16 mains (read: most common racquet form factor), I knock off a star. But in brief use with the Babolat, it performed just fine. If you are a beginning player or on the smaller/weaker side of human variation, you probably want to be using an oversize racquet with an open pattern anyway, for added power. These dampeners will work well for you, and I really must recommend them for the channel-locking structure that clamps around the string—you won't have to worry much about the damp falling off during games.

Quality not bad. Seems most advanced type but.
So far it stays on and working. Nice material advance engaging mechanism. But box was open, only two dampener rolling in the bag. Annoying to return and wait so I just accepted. Make batter packaging box.
