Needs a version 2...
I love the idea especiallythe bluetooth profiles!... it needs some adjustments and isnt ready yet. The mouse its self is super light weight! Very comfortable to move around weight wise, but the profile is to shallow for me. The texture is a sleek matte so its not the best grip which is more so needed with the low profile design. Fatigue will set in with long term use. The big selling point for me however is the hub! What an amazing idea thats almost perfect! Except i cant use it... unless i take my case off my phone. The plug isnt deep enough to securely seat in my phones port without taking the case off. Which for me and my fold 4, is not an option because me case has adhesive around the edges to help keep it on the phone. I really dont want to return it! But i have to... it just isnt ready for everybody yet.

Great mouse but ....
.... probably only worth it if you need the included port replicator. I bought it because one of my favorite YouTubers was advertising them. It works well, it feels good. I keep it in my backpack. I honestly haven't tried the included port replicator. Sadly I don't think it will fit on my MacBook Air because of the case.If you want the little port replicator, BUY THIS MOUSE! If you have no need for it, get the Logitech Pebble.

A Mouse That's Also a Hub - Clever Combo
So, I got my hands on this cool mouse from ProtoArc Mouse, and let me tell you, it's more than just a mouse. It's got this neat trick – it's also a hub. Yeah, pretty unexpected, right? Here's the lowdown on how it fits into my tech life. Btw, it's my second ProtoArc product and I can tell it rivals some of the best designed tech out there.More Ports, Less HassleWhat I really like is that it's not just a mouse – it's got a hub and dock neatly hidden inside it. So, if your laptop or whatever has just one USB-C port, this mouse hub thing expands it to three more ports. There's a fast charging one, a regular USB, and even an HDMI for when you want to show off your screen on a bigger display. All in one device – it's pretty smart.Easy Setup, No DramaSetting it up is a breeze. The hub part just plugs in and plays. And get this – the USB receiver for the mouse hides away in the mouse itself. So, when you're on the move, you don't have to worry about losing that tiny thing. Plus, it connects either with Bluetooth or this 2.4G thing. And it can handle three devices at once. You just press a button on the back to switch between them. Simple.Works with Almost EverythingWhat's cool is that it works with a bunch of stuff. I've tried it on my Android laptop, iPad, and even a MacBook. They say it only works with USB-C devices, but that's pretty much everything these days, right?Feels Good, Moves SmoothNow, the mouse part – it's comfy to hold. Not too heavy, and the shape fits my hand well. You can change how fast the cursor moves, which is handy. I like that it doesn't make noise when I click – it's pretty quiet. And the battery lasts a good while. I've had it for a couple of weeks, and I haven't had to charge it much.Final Thoughts: Smart BuySo, if you need a mouse and some extra ports, this ProtoArc thing is pretty clever. It's made my tech life a bit simpler, and that's always a win in my book.

"Note: The usb C port is only for charging"
At the time of this review, the ProtoArc Hub Mouse sells for $79.99. The hub works well. The mouse works well (both in 2.4ghz and BT mode), but you'll be paying a premium for the hub-that-lives-inside-a-mouse design; there simply isn't 80 dollars' worth of technology here. The Good- 2.4ghz connectivity is flawless; during several days of multi-hour use, the connection didn't drop or even stutter. Not once.- Very good Bluetooth connectivity. Not "flawless" like 2.4ghz, but stutters are rare, and connection drops are non-existent.- The mouse is comfortable to use. It may lack the ergonomics of my MX Master, but the top is rounded enough to be easy to hold.- Best for portability. You can buy a much smaller travel mouse, but once you add a separate hub to the mix, those two components will take up more room than the Hub Mouse. The Meh- On the silver/white colourway, the "silver" scroll wheel and accent band actually look like chromed plastic, and the mouse would look better without them. The BadThe marquee feature (the hub) will justify the expense for some, and be a hindrance to others...- I missed a key part in the listing before ordering: "Note: The usb C port is only for charging." If you're using a device with only one USB-C port (or with limited ports close to each other), this may be a bad thing. On my Surface Pro 7, the hub occupies the only USB-C port and blocks the only USB-A port; while I can then connect another device to the USB-A port on the hub, I'm still out of luck when I need a USB-C port -- the solution is to disconnect the hub and switch the mouse to Bluetooth, and maybe reconnect the hub once I'm done with that peripheral. Either way, productivity goes out the window.- The hub's USB-C connector is so short that it will not connect to any device with a case; by my measurements, the gap between a bare device and the body of the hub when connected is ~1mm -- you probably don't have a case that thin. Even on a case with generous cutouts, the hub is so wide that it's bound to hit an obstruction.I'll be honest -- I saw a new ProtoArc product [this one] and I ordered it without much consideration to how it would integrate into my work flow; as such, my relationship with the Hub Mouse has evolved during our time together. While I originally intended to use it in 2.4ghz mode by connecting the hub, I am now using the mouse primarily via Bluetooth. The hub is now relegated to "just in case" duty. If I'm at home, I will continue to prefer my other hub which has a full-featured USB-C port, but when I'm travelling, I know this hub can get the job done (even if it will be in the way sometimes). With all this complaining, why am I still rating the Hub Mouse at four stars? Because the mouse is good enough, the hub works well enough, and I appreciate the innovative (if imperfect) design. Just because it didn't work as I anticipated for me, does not mean it will not work for you -- I'm just here sharing my experience so you can make an informed decision.
