This costume was so cute! But I did have to return it because of how small it was. Make sure to get a bigger fit than it recommends.

I have been looking for a sweet black and white Harlequin / pierrot clown costume for my daughter. We wanted sweet and French, not gory or horror-themed. That is surprisingly hard to find, as all of these pre-made clown costumes I am searching through are seemingly made with a ghoulish bent. I took a chance on this costume, as it looked like the red splotched rag might be removable. That proves to be the case. It is simply looped through the stretchy bodice and can be pulled right out. Both the red stained bandage strip of fabric and the dagger, which features a ghoulish skull, are being chucked in the trash. I will say that the bandage left two small pinkish stains where it rubbed against the bodice of the dress, but I'm going to try to spot treat it. I was pleased to find that it was not a pair of tights that was sent, rather one black and one white thigh high sock which will help this fit a lot more body types. My daughter will simply wear regular tights or leggings underneath and pull the socks up. The bodice, as you can tell, is the type that stretches to fit. Therefore, I would recommend a bodysuit or trim fit t-shirt underneath as it will be showing skin otherwise. My reasons for taking one star off include: of the two clips to help the hat stay on, one side is coming unglued. That will be an easy fix with my hot glue gun. Because of the nature of tulle fabric, it will take a little bit of fluffing and effort to get fullness into the ruffle collar and skirt. That is expected, of course, for the material used, as is the somewhat rough texture (I imagine a child with sensory issues will not find the ruffle collar comfortable, but could wear the dress with something underneath). Also, the gloves seem to run quite small; luckily, I found a pair cheaply at a big box store nearby. I ordered my tall and thin 9 year old an XL/8-9 size. The size is very flexible.

I thought it would be great for my daughter but it is see through. We are going to have to modify it for it to be kid friendly. Overall it is cute she said the neck piece is itchy however she likes it.

Lo cual NO ES CIERTO en el paquete viene el vestido, la parte de tul que va en el cuello, un par de guantes y dos horquillas rojas para el cabello. La calidad es buena, mi puntuación es por no cumplir con lo que dice la descripción.

Too small for kid, not adults

Was not worth it to buy. This was way to sheer and the size was not true to size. Will not buy again

The dress is really cool but the top is almost net material so you can see right through it and the bottom is like a tutu which is also 0 coverage so make sure you have a shirt and tights or something to go underneath

Bought it for my 13y old a size 10 outfit was small other than that we both like the costume.
