Make sure when you change the filter you turn the water supply off to the fridge and draw off some water from the dispenser on the fridge after doing so to release the pressure else you won't get the new filter to engage properly. I didn't do this and just removed the old filter and put the new one in, so that it only turned about an inch, not realising it didn't turn far enough for it to work, so we've had a filter installed which hadn't been engaged and hadn't been filtering the water for 6 months. I've just now done the above properly and the filter turned about 180, you could hear it fill with water and had quite a bit of air blow out when runing water through. Interestingly you can remove the filter and the water still flows from the dispenser fine, I assumed it would not come out with no filter fitted, hence I've been able to have the filter incorrectly seated and still use the water and ice on the fridge.

After reading the reviews on the many different filters available I was worried about getting a good one that fitted correctly and tasted right. It seems to me that you can easily pay way over the top for what is really a basic water filter....theres nothing more in the expensive ones. These seem to fit well, taste good and the price is very competitive so when I need more I will go back for more of these.Incidently the change filter light is purely a 6 month timer light on most fridges so it comes on no matter how much or how little you use the water and when you reset it it detects nothing so dont be fooled. I reset mine 3 times and so I kept my filter for nearly 2 years before changing the filter. Some people say they changed the filter and it still says it needs changing, well thats because they didn't reset the 6 month timer light. I used to work with these fridges for a while so I know this for a fact but I cant guarantee its the case with every single one. If you want to test it, find out how you reset the light after a new filter fitting and just reset it without changing the filter, it should and will go back to the normal filter ok status.

These tend to last about 6 months before requiring a change. They remove the chemical taste from the water and keep it nice and clean m. This is the third time I have ordered this product; they do the same job as the branded equivalent at a third of the price. I will always buy my filters here!

We have been using the filters for our Samsung fridge for some time now. Works fine, good value for money.

After trying to order the official filters twice and both times receiving ones that wouldn't fit, I'm happy that these do fit and seem good so far. There haven't been any leaks and the water tastes fine as usual. I have noticed that the water pressure has dropped marginally and that cold-water capacity seems slightly less than with the official filters, but this is being very picky. These are also much better value. Would buy again.

What can I say, is a water filter, it filters the water, water tastes fine (you can tell the difference from tap water) and it fits our Samsung fridge (after we had the connector changed under warranty, we had the older style fit) and reasonably priced.

Good price, about half the price of Samsung ones. Good fit no leaks only issue is as others have commented, is the water flow rate is slightly slower on these filters, but not a big issue, but costs a star. More than happy as saved £20 on water filters for 2017.
