Perfect Popper Popcorn Machine - 10oz Stainless-Steel Kettle, Reject Kernel Tray, Warming Light, and Accessories by Great Northern Popcorn (Black)

I love my popcorn machine. My last one finally wore out after many many years of use and abuse. I bought the 10oz this time because of the bigger kettle and happy I did. Hope to have this one another 10 years.

We have used this popcorn popper about twice a month for over a year. Better than movie theater popcorn at home. Cleanup is easy. Which is one thing I appreciate. The kids love it. It is fairly large so pay attention to dimensions when ordering.

Popped great kernels and quickly. Easy assembly.

Works great! Except the glass door are uneven. Off about 1/2” to 3/4” left side barely touch the magnet to keep it closed. Can’t fix it because of the hinges are in the wrong location. Otherwise it works great easy to clean.

I pop popcorn in my neighborhood for Halloween instead of candy. It smells wonderful and is cheaper, easier, and healthier than candy. I needed a bigger machine to accommodate all of the trick or treaters, and this machine is perfect. It's size is perfect for popping 2-3 batches at a time before having to scoop. Looks just like the popcorn machines you see at a fair or school function. So happy with this - perfect for parties and large functions. Easy clean up and so easy to use.

When this large and heavy popcorn machine was opened during Christmas gift exchange it was disappointing to see the item was damaged. The shipping container looked as if it had been dropped or was possibly an item that was returned and never inspected. The frame of the machine was bent, hinges not square, Styrofoam packing pieces were broken. the drawer slot at the bottom of machine was bent so the drawer would not fit, and the bracket that was attached to the mechanism (visible through top of glass on back of machine) that held the pan was bent.On the plus side: Amazon will arrange to have machine picked up via UPS at no charge to me tomorrow and my money refunded. Because it was a large and very heavy item it was difficult repacking but at least I don't have to move it to UPS myself.Amazon return service so far has been very good.I will try to reorder this item again as my family loved the idea of a movie house style popcorn maker. Hopefully the next one will arrive as a new machine without damage. I will follow up with another review as we were never able to use the one I received.

We purchased one from another manufacturer and the kettle broke. We weren't able to replace the kettle so we had to buy a whole new setup. I'm so glad that we did! Never would I think that the popcorn popper would make a difference in the flavor and it has! The kernels are crispy and delicious whereas the other machine would often jam in the hopper and the corn would come out soft and less "fresh" tasting. We are using the same popcorn as before.It's very easy to clean as well. We put about a 1/2 cup of water in the hopper, heat it up until it boils, and let it steam up the inside of the popper. We then just wipe everything down, pour out the excess water, and then wipe out the inside. So easy!If you're debating between this and one of the other brands this one will not disappoint.

I originally bought their 8oz. Machine. That sounded like the right size for a family of five to enjoy movie nights (correct!) I bought a 16 inch deep accent cabinet to make a popcorn station... when the 8oz. machine arrived I was disappointed with how small it looked.If you look at the photos of these popcorn poppers the top flares out. The base dimensions are significantly smaller than the dimensions listed.I took a chance and returned the 8 ounce unit (I literally dropped it off at Kohl’s Department store, easiest return ever). And then I upgraded to this 10 ounce machine. I think it’s a much more impressive size, and the extra space inside the cabinet makes it easier to scoop. I’ll post pictures of the dimensions, but it easily sits on my 16 inch deep cabinet.Tonight I popped the great Northern 8 ounce pre-measured pack and it was a perfect amount for our family. Maybe down the road I’ll buy the 10 ounce packs of popcorn for a party.Cleaning tip- I DO NOT know what the company would say about this- but I saw this idea on another review.... before I used my unit I very carefully caulked the small gap between the glass sidewalls and the metal side, using food safe silicone ($5 on Amazon). This makes so much easier to clean. Little pieces of hull and popcorn can’t get stuck in that tiny gap.I’m really glad we sized up to the larger machine, overall very impressed with the craftsmanship and packaging.We love it!
