The size and cord length are just right for most any use, and no question it’s not just for fish tanks. It’s versatile for any situation as I have one that helps extend an outlet hidden behind a couch too. So far, it has performed perfectly with no issues. Be advised the plug is three-pronged, aka grounded, so if your outlet of choice is not similarly grounded, it won’t work. But other than that, easy to use and successfully sleek.
