Ashamed to admit that after 40 years of working in electronics, this is my first heat gun. What an addition to my tool chest. Makes any electrical project have that professional flair. I can limit my use of wire nuts and electrical tape now. This is not a toy. The heat gun should be used with all precautions. Takes a while to cool off after use so stage safely until ready to store.

Purchased as a christmas gift for a candle maker. Upon completion of the first charge of the batteries have found the heat gun only runs for a short period befor one has to disconect the batt from the gun and re attatch to re start the gun. Outside of the 30 day warranty this stuck with this, more than likey will find its way to the wall of shame in my shop. Would not recomend this product.

We have a corded heat gun, which is great but sometimes difficult to stretch the cord to where you need it. This awesome gadget has 2 batteries and you don't have to worry about fighting with the cord. The only complaint I have with this heat gun is that it doesn't get as hot as the corded one we have. The corded one will burn your fingers off if you are not careful. This one does not get hot enough to do that. All in all I don't regret purchase, I would buy it again. It's reasonably priced, comes with a bunch of different attachments for it, charging cord, and 2 batteries. Not bad. I would recommend this heat gun if you are looking for a cordless heat gun.

Update- i received a replacement heat gun and after 2 months the battery won’t hold a charge and i barely used the heat gun. Power supply had a hole in the side, a battery had a large crack in it, seller took their time shipping a new heat gun so i had to file complaint with Amazon. The heat gun looks cheaply made and the power supply and battery look like cheap very thin plastic

Great for mobile jobs

When trying to use the gun you couldn't feel the hot air unless you had the nozzle one to two inches any farther away you only got a little warm air and it would shut off after about a minute in a half It might have been alright If it at least blew air but it didn't worthless couldn't use it sent it back.

Its a joke that this thing is allowed to be sold on Amazon. Came with 2 batteries but one of them only works for 15 seconds and then stops. The other batter does work properly, but only stays charged for about 5 minutes of use. Comes with some cool attachments, but gun doesn't quite get hot enough to use those.
