I'm not one to usually write reviews, but I just have to on this shaver. I have recently decided that my receding hairline would look better completely gone! I've done much research on head shavers ranging from the very cheap to some that are, in my opinion, ridiculously priced. After a search on Amazon, I came across this one, which was advertised with 33% off making it in the region of £33.The shaver arrived with 90% charge so I was able to give it a test straight away, all I can say is OMG! This shaver was amazing! Ok not as close as a blade, but near as dammit. Until now I have been using the Philips One Blade, and although I accept that isn't designed for head shaving, this shaver has got a lot closer and so much quicker. It took me about 1-1.30 minutes to completely shave my head!The unit itself feels of good quality and well made, big, easy to read, screen telling you how much charge is left, how long you've used it for and if the travel lock is on. It comes with various attachments, not sure how many I would personally use, but they're there anyway. This fitted well and comfortable in my smallish hand, and just as comfortable in my sons much bigger hand. I found this shaver to be extremely easy to use.My son used the trimmer attachment, to shorten his facial hair, before using the foil saver to get a closer shave. Again, not as close as a blade, but NO nicks, NO blood and NO tissue stuck to his face afterwards.In my opinion, I can't imaging a unit costing £200+ would be any better than this, obviously I could be proved wrong, but I am so happy with this unit, I won't be spend that amount of money to find out.The only thing I can find wrong with this until is a lack of a travel case, but a smallish wash bag would do the trick if you was taking it somewhere.I can honestly say, if you're looking for a head shaver, you won't go far wrong with this, the quality, attachments and ease of use makes it a really good purchase.

I've waited a few months before writing this so I could get used to it and see how it went.The (Type C) charging is great, and the battery life is also very good- I can go well over a week without needing a charge, and that's using it every day pretty muchIt took me a few goes to work out how I want to use it- started out wet shaving under the shower, with or without cream/shampoo and that worked well but wasn't totally convenient for me as we have a small bathroom with minimal storage space (and obviously, no access to type c charging)I now have this on one side of my desk and use it sat here in front of my PC- I dry shave, taking about 4 minutes to do a complete proper job, after which I use a balm/moisturiser. I've learned to use it at LEAST once every other day, or I tend to get rashes, though I do have sensitive skin. Three or more days, and I have to spend a lot longer shaving with it and I do get a few blotches, but every day or every-other day, no problems with redness or anything. The shave is close and smooth now I've got used to it- alternating rotation direction etc, and working out where the high and low spots are in my skull.After I've used it and applied balm, I put it on a flannel next to me and clean it out- initially it took a few minutes to open the lobes up and the centre one confused me for a few minutes, but now I've sussed it out it's easy as anything- only takes a minute or two to open, use supplied brush and close it all up again- I find it easier to clean now I use it dry than when I tried it with shampoo or gel- that gets sticky inside and needs to be washed out under a warm tap, but dry, I just brush out the fluff/skin and that;s it ready to go again. ( I just shake the flannel out into the bin next to my desk)For £30 when I bought it, I had low expectations, especially seeing 'bulldog' brand at over 150 quid- I find it hard to imagine that one of those could justify their cost being 5x more than this, when this one does exactly what I need it to do and doesn't irritate my scalp now I know how to use it.Recommended, and for something as personal and potentially dangerous to my skin/head, that's the first time I've ever said that on any review I've bothered to post (not many, even for bog-standard items)

So I spend roughly £25 every two/three weeks going to a barber shop to get my head shaved. And yes it’s nice to have a hot towel shave etc as a pamper, but the cost of living etc affects everything.So I decided to give o r of these a shot and not wanting to spend too much I plumped for this machine.I can honestly say I am over the moon with it. Since I got it I have used it three times to keep my head shaved and it’s done an excellent job. You get attachments with it but I haven’t used these so I can’t comment on them. As a head shaver however it’s spot on.

Does a great job! Easy to use and easy to clean. PERFECT!

Excellent power with great quality of blades. It shaves like a razor with no hair left behind. The true shaving experience comes with a lot of accessories such as trimmer heads, brushes, cable for charging etc. It lasts more than 90 mins and charges quicker than expected. It takes maximum 15 mins to charge adequately and 1 hour for full charge.Simply amazing product.Highly recommended!

Product is good, (when battery worked ) easy to hold in hand and cuts hair very short , it’s biggest let down is it’s battery life, I bought it for my husband Xmas, he used it twice and battery died, recharged it but very slow And doesn’t cut hair even with 60% battery life, doesn’t work,will be sending it back as can’t use it

A proper close shave, best results when using wet with shaving gel.Would get 5 star if it came with a proper bag or box, rather than the standard cardboard box as its packaging.Quality shaver so far though!
