This thing really works!!I’m always biting my nails, I can’t help it; I also have a baby at home so I’m washing bottles all day long and nedlees to say nail polish doesn’t last long in my nails.Regular nail polish last one day for me (that’s how bad I mess with my nails). Gel nails at the salon last about 2 weeks, but it’s expensive and I don’t have time; so I decided to give this a try. I’ve been wearing this nailPolish for 7 days now and it looks great! No chips and no peeling! For the price this is totally worth it. Anything that stays more than 3 days on my nails is a winner for me!This picture is my nails with the nail polish I applied 7 days ago, no retouching after that. I’m really impressed

Miracle Gel works beautifully, but you need to know how to use it. Don't pull down hard and drag the brush, but sweep/tap it lightly across with the brush. You'll get more of a car-finish look with absolutely no streaking. Go outside if you can (only between coats or when you’re finished) and the UV sensitive ingredients will cure & harden the finish.If you go over to http://imabeautygeek.com and use their search tool you can find reviews with swatches (blog/photo style). Two in particular are excellent. One explains in detail which colors are top choices for application & longevity/wear. There's a display of ALL 47 colors applied to nails, too! It makes it so much easier to choose.This polish won't last 14 days but it lasts longer than any I've ever tried and comes off w/ both acetone & non-acetone polish remover. I'm impressed, and I've had people stop and admire this color [Sugar Fix] when I'm out and about in a normal day. I've tried 10 different colors so far. Almost always, there are compliments throughout the week, which is about how long it lasts for me.2 coats + Miracle Gel topcoat.Don't use a basecoat. Don't omit the topcoat.Another trick that makes it look perfectly applied is to let each coat dry completely before starting the next. And it dries remarkably fast. I like to either sit near a window for sunshine that helps it "cure"' or go outside in-between coats and sit in the sun. First off, I really-really like this brand. I have bought a few of these polishes, and I am a huge fan of the big brush and how quickly it dries. I ordered this particular shade, Got Mod, because the stores didn’t carry or have this shade at the time. Well, I don’t know if I didn’t roll it enough or if I shook it too much but every time I layer it on it comes out very streaky. I’m not the cleanest nail polisher and a novice at best but the first time I tried it I didn’t have great luck. You have to layer it on but even then I wasn’t crazy about the end result. By the time I got the topcoat on I didn’t care, thus the bubbles. I didn’t want to give this a crappy review so people won’t try to buy this because it is a great brand and I love my Black polish so much. That’s why am giving it three stars because maybe I’m doing something wrong, have a crappy brush, or the formula is old. Either way I’m forced to keep it (no returns homie) and will continue using it and figure it’s a ways.

I have trouble keeping polish on my nails--not because I do anything that chips the polish away, but polish just won't stay on my natural nails. I decided to try this gel system to see if I had better luck. And I have. I do my nails on Sunday, and this polish lasts until the following Sunday with very little, if any chipping. I do let the polish dry about 2 hours between each coat.The ONLY reason for a 4 star rating is the colors are not what you see on the screen. I ordered the Mauve-olous and it is a really light, light pink, not the mauve color shown . The Persuade is a darker pink where it looks like if has an oranger hue on screen. I've decided to buy the colored nail polish locally to insure I get the color I want.UPDATE: I know it says no UV light is necessary, but I thought I would try one. This time I only waited 15vminutes between each coat of polish and top coat, then used a UV light for 10 minutes on each hand. I'm on day 10 with no damage to the polish! And I got my nails done within an hour...while I had my feet in my foot spa bath! 😉

I have used this nail polish, twice... and I can understand why people rate it high and why they rate it low. If you have freshly clean hands and very smooth nails then, yes, this nail polish will literally peel right off in a day or two. The first time I used it that was exactly what I did and I was so pissed.So, then I thought back to my days of professional manicures - and - it occurred to me that I rarely just walk in the salon with clean nails and have polish applied. There's quite a process. So, I googled "steps to a perfect manicure at home" and found that step 1 was remove polish, and step 2 was "BUFF NAILS"Well, when I tried that - and I buffed my nails first (the whole nail... not just the top.. all the way down the sides to the cuticle) this polish has stuck amazingly well. I am on day 10 with this application and it is going strong.I can't say that I have tried this with other discount brands of polish as a comparison - but - for this polish buffing nails before painting worked like a charm.

Ive used a lot of different brands of nail polish over the years and have found very few actually last longer than a day or so without chipping. Full credit to the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel. I was sceptical when I read the reviews but Im pleased to say Ive been happily surprised. Ive had the polish on approx 4 days now and its only just starting to show signs of chipping. I used it in conjunction with the top coat so I dont know if that makes a difference but Ive definitely been converted and wont be using any other brand from now on.

This polish goes on well, smoothly and with good coverage. Stays on better if given a topcoat though - on its own, it is average for staying power. I previously bought the same thing from another seller some time ago, and this bottle was quite a lot dearer than the last. Unfortunately, I needed it in a hurry but couldn't find previous seller

I love these nail varnishes. They look great and last about a week. Good value.However, wear gloves if using cleaning products as the varnish at the tips of nails will wear off. Hence four stars for longevity.

Very easy to apply cleaned my nails well and we're very clean and dry before putting any polish on. But it had chipped in to places by the end of the day. So cleaned dryed them and reapplyed that evening but still chipped in to places befor the following evening. So not pleased

Looked terrible!! Was all bubbly and looked very thick. Needed 3 coats as it looked thin and streaky. Would not recommend this product at all. I followed the instructions and tried 3 times but it still ended up looking the same. Very disappointed
