Awesome gift for anyone who likes to cook. The Spiceology Signature Series has a great variety of blends, and the packaging looks sharp enough to leave out on the counter. Gave it as a Christmas gift and it was a hit.Pro: Unique flavors that aren’t your average grocery store spices.Con: A little pricey, but you’re paying for quality.

I thought there was a good selection in this mix. I gave it as a Christmas present and have had no complaints.

I ordered these as the spice blends seemed creative and unusual. For example, I’d never heard of using espresso as a seasoning before, let alone combining it with Chile pepper.Admittedly, the espresso Chile blend smells more like stale ground coffee than a fresh espresso. But perhaps that’s an inevitable consequence of grinding the beans which results in oxidation. I’ve been experimenting with it on Impossible meat, and it does create a very interesting result. I’ve also been roasting walnuts coated in this blend with some butter. I plan to use it next time we have guests as it will certainly be a conversation starter!Note than this set is NOT VEGAN. Usually, I’d just assume that spices are plant-based given that they’re ground herbs and plants. However, this set contains the Black and Bleu spice blend which contains milk in the blue cheese powder.I do like that this set has spice blends which work with a range of cuisines, including Korean, Mexican, Greek, American and French. The unusual blends add a more unique and interesting flavor to my food, compared to the standard spice mixes I typically use from the local grocery store.Something I find frustrating about this brand is that the ingredients don’t state which spices are included. Perhaps this is because it’s proprietary? However, I like to know exactly what I’m consuming. For example, different spices have specific health benefits and trace nutrients, so it’s helpful to know the exact ingredients used in these blends.I’ve uploaded photos of the ingredients lists. They simply state ‘spices’ instead of listing the names of the individual spices used.One other thing I didn’t like about this set, is that 4 of the pots contains added sugar or maple syrup. The Smokey Honey Habanero has honey granules as the first ingredient and both the Chile Margarita and Cowboy Crust have brown sugar as the second ingredient! Although they taste good, it’s a little indulgent and unnecessary for spice blends to have sugar as one of the first ingredients in my opinion!Overall, this is an interesting gourmet set. The little jars are cute and made of glass, giving them a quality feel. This set would be a great gift for a friend or family member who likes experimenting in the kitchen!

I put together a gift basket for my husband and he’s loved all of these so far. He loves to grill and cook so this was a perfect gift!

I don’t use a lot of spices, but decided I should increase my spice experience. I ordered this set of spices and I’m absolutely thrilled with them. They are just wonderful and really perk up any item.

My husband got a smoker:grill for Christmas last year and it’s become a big hobby for him. I bought this spice pack as a stocking stuffer this year and I couldn’t be more happy with them.The flavors are fairly unique, they taste fresh (not stale like a lot of spice blends), and it’s a great way to try new blends without shelling out for the bigger sizes right away. We’ll definitely be getting bigger sizes of several of these. The Korean bbq and the bleu cheese ones are household faves now.

Both sons yelled, "Oh wow! Spice-o-logy! Nice!" when they opened their boxes. I had no idea they'd be so excited! They were familiar with the brand and said, "These are REALLY good spices!" I've already been invited to future Bar-B-Q's! Can't wait!
