If I could give this zero stars I would. This film is completely see through. I bought if for a clear glass shower door to give it some privacy and you can see through the film almost as if it wasn’t there. I installed it correctly, but there is no “privacy” at all like the description states. I feel gypped and my hard earned money was wasted.

The picture shown is a complete misrepresentation of the window film. What I received was most undesirable, but I had to use it because I'd already taken the previous window film off the window and there's no way I could leave it bare. I was looking forward to all the colorful film to put on my window, and somehow I thought if I kept on unraveling the roll, the pretty design would show up. It never did. I never would have bought the film that came to me. I wanted the film that is shown in the picture. I am deeply disappointed in the product.

The picture of product is deceiving. There are NO colors in the film even though the picture gives that impression.

The film pictured doesn't look anything like what we received. It has stripes all over it and not one leaf to be seen. Contact with the seller was non-helpful, to say the least. Avoid.

Very pretty and colorful light refractions when the sun shines through in the late afternoon. The window film allows the rooms to feel and offer private interior living space while allowing as much light as possible into the rooms. A good economical solution while avoiding blinds and darkened rooms. The front of my house is close to the street and neighbors can view in from across the street as well as people walking by. Which is not ideal. Outside at night, observing how well the window film blocks the view, I’ve noticed that if the lamp at the back of the room from the window is the only light lit, human forms within the room are silhouetted and can be seen as such. But that’s only in a room with ceiling to floor windows. The other room’s windows are only from upper body to ceiling windows and this causes that room’s outer view sight line into the room to not be so open and revealing to the outer world. So the film doesn’t completely block and is not quite as private for fa full sightline like with large picture windows. I have kept curtains to pull closed after dark for that room to ensure better privacy. During the day while working I like not having to look up and meet the eyes of pedestrians as they walk by and are looking into the windows of my home. And I’m happy not to have shades or blinds that keep the rooms dark and sacrifice enjoying daylight through out my home. For installing, keep in mind this is a total DIY project. You will need to also order the squeegee/window spray kit to press out all of the window cleaner from between the glass and the film. I found that a good window cleaner spray works just as well as the kit spray but the small squeegee that comes with the kits is a perfect size to install the window film in large windows as well as smaller ones. Other tools needed is a larger good quality self healing cutting mat along with sharp exaco cutting tool and blades and a long metal edged ruler and measuring tape to measure the windows. I was able to also make some finishing cuts on the window itself. But these cuts will dull the exacto blade and ruins it for re-use. So fresh blades are a must. You will ruin the window film if using dull blades to cut with. I found I had to change to a fresh new blad to cut the film for each window to avoid making mistakes from a dull blade. Take plenty of time for each window you are covering with the film. The more of the soapy window application spray you use makes it easier to adjust and fit the film to the window. The squeegee to push out the air bubbles and water along with some good absorbent towels will soak up the excess easily.

This product is a miracle worker!!!!I tried two other competitive brands that I love was fortunate enough to attempt prior to purchasing from amazon. Buttttt even is with as many options there may be from your local home goods and labor store... and this product provided the most versatile privacy options / this is the one : hands down!!!!! If only the pictures could do the actual final project justice !Be sure to follow the steps and proper protocol.I used one of the recommended installation kits for approx $10.00USD.Helped tremendously!

I received this privacy glass window cling and _FOLLOWED DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY so I wouldn't screw up on installation. YouTube also has videos on the procedure. I started at the bottom of the sliding glass door and it took three panels/pieces (the whole roll) to get three quarters up the height of the window. It is nicer to have some privacy but lots of light coming through the door. I haven't looked at the doors from outside yet either. I plan on doing follow up with this review to note whether it actually prevents heat loss (its winter here). I would say I'm happy with this purchase. After the first piece, installation was easy but I left my phone off so I wasn't distracted either. I already bought another roll to do the second door and I will be getting a third roll when my budget allows. If I save on utilities, this is well worth the price. I'll let you know.

I found this window film quite easy to install by myself, but it would be even easier with 2 people to line up larger pieces at top and bottom. The difficult part was measuring with 1/16" allowance and then cutting. It is quite thick so you need a flat, hard surface (I used a flattened cardboard box on the floor for lack of a large enough surface and it was tough to cut, even along a metal ruler.) I watched the youtube videos, used a squeegee and credit card wrapped with microfibre cloth, and had no problems squeezing out any air bubbles. Definitely recommend cutting to size first rather than trying to trim afterwards. Also, this comes with tape attached to pull the film and backing apart so that part was easy (other reviewers have mentioned this can be difficult). Just make sure you don't cut off that corner when trimming to size...It looks great and so far is adhering well. Good balance between privacy and light. My door/sidelight is slightly recessed on the front porch and doesn't get direct sunlight, so there's not too much of the prism effect, but the plain film is pretty nonetheless.

It’s Not what yu think!!!!! Terrible item doesn’t stick,,, there no colour to it ,

Although the product quality is good, pictures show some colour in the pattern. I got it clear and see no colour appear in it after 6 months of use on 2 small skylights. This product has no colour to it so expect plain opaque plastic only! The picture misrepresents what I received and my observations from last 6 months.

Product does what it’s supposed to do. It sticks onto glass but for how long still remains to be seen. It does provide enough light in and privacy. What is disappointing is their picture and description used in the posting. This window film is purely colourless. It also does not produce/change colour under various light conditions. So obviously the vendor is not being completely honest. It would’ve been nice to have some colours but since it’s already cut and installed, whatever. Don’t be fooled like I was.

I used a clear adhesive around the edges to lock it on the window. This on the sunny side but this is what it looks like late in the day after the sun goes down. It is very colourful during the day. This is my bathroom window it is like a colourful paint window very enjoyable.
