PowerA Charging Stand for Xbox One - Xbox One

Item does pretty much what it says.Charging stand for XBOX one controller. It does not seem to work with the ELITE however without some minor modding so keep that in mind.In the box you get the stand, manual, USB cable, battery pack and cover. The charging cable provided is USB to Micro USB with Micro USB going into the stand so you will need a USB port / adapter.The battery pack fits on fairly easy and the plastic cover while it does have a slightly different finish compared to the controllers normal back, is not overly terrible.Stand itself is decent and does the job. It is however very plasticy and made of very shiney plastic, similar to the black bar finish at the top of the one pad rather then the matt finish. Its also does not feel great, but your not going to be touching it all the time, so no big deal. It does have a red / green LED which does look quiet decent on your desk.In all not a bad item for those wanting to show off their controller / have a neat setup.

Does exactly what I needed, lets me charge my controller on a stand, but has a few problems. For some reason the manufacturer decided to include an option to move the part that the controller sits on either down or up to either have it charging or sit there without charging, making the holder unnecessarily wobbly when you could just as easily rest it on the charger. The batteries and back are also quite fiddly to get on properly and it sometimes takes a lot of fiddling to get the controller in a position where it actually connects and charges. All in all these are relatively minor gripes that don't really effect the product much, but they are also pretty unnecessary problems that shouldn't really be there.

+Small+Bright, and useful, LED status indicator+Simple to use and easy to set up+USB powered (so many alternatives require a plug - madness!)+Fast (enough) charging (It's yet to die on me mid-game, even after a few hours)-Rattles when shaken (duh) and feels cheap (it is!)-Battery seems to discharge quickly when not used (but overall it's still more convenient than using batteries)

I bought this for my husband after him stealing the batteries from my bathroom scales once too often. He was over the moon with it. The fact it lights up excited him far more than it probably should have - he was like a kid at christmas! He said it charged well and gives him plenty of game play between charges. (He probably plays 3-4 hours of Forza a week, and he hasn't charged it again since the initial charge a week back. Hubby is happy he no longer has to hunt for batteries, and I'm happy he no longer steals batteries from my things. - money well spent!

Bought this as part of a bundle suggested BY AMAZON with a, Xbox One Elite Controller. The battery compartment door that comes with the recharger does not fit the Elite Controller's recess, making this purchase pointless. Thanks a lot Amazon.UPDATE: I managed to cleanly file off the support clips that were causing the issue and it managed to seal the rechargeable battery inside happily enough and charge on the stand. The compartment door might not be quite as secure/tight fitting now, but it works. Shouldn;t have needed to do this. Rating reviewed from 1 star to 3 stars.

Having already owned a very similar product, I expected a little more than what I recieved.I owned the Power A dual charging dock and expected this to be similar, just half the size.The biggest differences are in the quality of the item. This one feels very cheap. It's very light, and rattles with a lot of movement in the spring mechanism.The battery pack, however, is pretty good. It lasts me a long time between charges.

Its not an offical product, the plastic feels a bit cheap. This said its a well made and well thought out product. It lights up when charging and is easy to place the controller on the charger. I did note that when holding the controller that the battery charger feels wierd .. I am really love this and its great value
