Reset bar wasn't set in place
The reset latch wasn't socketed correctly. I thought it would have to be cut out to make the abacus useful but it turns out I could snap it back in to its anchors to fix. Unfortunate that it needed fixing on arrival though.

great for the price
having fun with it. can't beat the price. originally wanted a smaller version to keep in my bag, but still looking for a sturdy good quality one to lug around.

My Review
I like this Chinese Abacus, this is my second Chinese Abacus but the only one with the automatic reset, that is one reason why I bought as I never seen one with it. You get what you pay for, it is nice and well made but it is not $100.00 Abacus but I like it and an glad that I bought it, is it worth the money? If you want a Abacus then I would say yes it it. It is to me, now I just have to learn it a little better.
