This is not a defect, this is designed for different sealing effects, some people just need to seal the bag, they can use 3mm heating wire. Some people need to cut off the excess of the bag from the welded point after sealing. This is where another thin wire is needed. The working principle is: heating a relatively thin electric heating wire, melting the plastic bag at the welding point, sealing and cutting at the same time. The method of use is the same: adjust the temperature → press the handle → complete the sealing and cutting → tear off the cut part

This heat sealer makes flat surfaces sealed. Alternatively the cutting line inside the package can be replaced for sealing and cutting off excess.
