As college football season gets underway, I needed a way to display my various Arkansas Razorback flags. Since I rent my home, I was reluctant to drill holes into my front porch deck. This kit provided the perfect solution. Although the limited instructions left me to a "trial and error" approach, I managed to easily secure this flagpole mount to my deck. It comes with a "Phillip's Head" screwdriver, in case you don't already have one. It also includes extra parts in case you lose some in the yard while installing. We will see how durable it is...and if all of the screws stay tightened.

Overall the instructions that came with this Left a little bit something to be desired as far as how to put everything together. Once you orient the diagram and figure out what pieces you have it makes a little bit more sense. It was really difficult to install on the railing considering you're trying to put wing nuts on and hanging over a balcony. The wingnuts themselves would not go very easily so I dropped one eight stories along with one of the black metal pieces. Good news is it survived with only some some scuffs. Eventually I re-attacked and decided to put one side on completely and then slowly slide into the other side until I at least had a closed loop and it wouldn't fall off, then I tighten the wing nuts and put it in the actual position that I wanted. Still almost dropped again. You could say it's user error but the tolerance on the wingnuts and the screws is not very good so you really have to get them on perfectly and start twisting to get it to work properly. Once it's on I got the flag pole on and it seems pretty sturdy so hopefully it holds.

I ended up just mounting this on a wall using the four screw holes on the main assembly rather than on a railing. It is a super sturdy product that I know will last for a long time. It is made of thick metal and the adjustable swivel for changing the angle that the flag hangs at has large, sturdy teeth that will not allow the swivel to strip or move. It is a little more expensive than other flag mounts but the added convenience of being able to mount it on a railing plus the high quality materials makes it worth the price.

This is a fantastic flagpole mount. Offers multiple attachment methods either to a rail or includes hardware for wall installation. I love that I have the option to hang this mount different ways. Includes instructions & all required hardware for both mounting methods. Easy to assemble if you choose to mount on a railing. Wall installation doesn’t require any assembly. The bracket is heavy-duty metal with a weather-resistant black coating. Includes anti-slip pads that attach on all 4 brackets. Fits a wide range of different size railings. Interlocking “teeth” hold the 180° adjustable pole position at whatever angle you desire. You loosen the wing-nut bolt to adjust the angle & tighten to secure. Also includes a wingnut bolt you tighten to lock your flagpole in place. Preventing it from accidentally sliding out. All around very well made, durable, & will last outside against the elements. Love that I didn’t have to drill into the brick on the side of my home & it only took minutes to setup. Highly recommend this flagpole holder for both rail & wall installation.

The quality is great, it is heavy duty and you truly do not have to drill a single thing!! I was able to put this together and install it on my deck railing without any assistance from my husband. (proud strong woman moment)! It stays in place, and getting the flagpole in and out is a breeze. So happy with this decision. The quality and price are unmatched!

I love that you can easy install your American flag anywhere! Install the flag bracket on a square or around pole or have the option to use the included hardware to mount. I like that I can move my flag around. Very durable and looks great.
