Perfect Everyday and Travel Backpack – Durable, Spacious, and Great Value!
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love my Briggs & Riley HTA Medium Widemouth Backpack! It's incredibly comfortable to carry, and the high-quality materials really make it stand out. There's plenty of space for all my essentials, including a laptop, books, and personal items, without feeling bulky. Because of its quality and functionality, this bag is an excellent value for the money. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, durable, and practical backpack!

The perfect lightweight pilot bag
Great design, both aesthetically and from an organisational point of view. I especially love the smaller externally accessible pocket which is great for my passport wallet. The materials are lightweight but holding up REALLY well to what’s pretty brutal use as an airline pilot. It’s both compact, and expands enough to get enough extra items in there - on top of my work equipment - that I could use it for a short overnight.

Great look, light, and versatile
I have owned many Tumi bags, and while they do last, many of them are somewhat stale and also very heavy. I was looking for a slim bag that looks professional, is expandable, and has many areas to store cables and office supplies needed for travel while also being light and comfortable.I am very satisfied with my B&R backpack as it achieves all of those items and seems to be very durable as well. All for about $200 - $300 less than the equivalent Tumi bag which I personally don’t think looks any better either.

Almost perfect, but missing a few key essentials
First off, I purchased the travel medium wide mouth HTA (HERE THERE ANYWHERE) backpack directly from Briggs and Riley. They offer free initial monogram and fast shipping.Pro:Everything about this backpack is great. Good build, good material, stands on its own, even when empty. I love the hidden zipper pocket on the back. Love the widemouth for accessibility. Love the size around 19 Liters I believe, not too big, not too small, fits well traveling on planes, in densely crowded cities and subways. Most important, I bought this backpack cause I can place a luggage lock on, to deter would be thieves from my laptop.Just enough to pack my cluster mess, including laptop, iPad, over the head headphones, ear pods, wallet, jacket, travel documents, mini umbrella, eyeglasses, battery bank/charger, and a tiny water bottle. Given how airlines are beginning to crack down on huge backpacks occupying overhead bins, this widemouth snug nicely under my feet. Overall this backpack is goldilocks comparable in size to my tumi alpha bravo sheppard.Cons:If I had the ability to build my own backpack, I would take this backpack and modded it with some much needed extras. It is missing a hidden pocket for apple airtags. Given that the work line backpack from briggs and riley has it, I am disappointed that it did not show up here in the travel line.Second, inside the main compartment, I need 2 zipper pockets instead of one and elastic side pockets to hold maybe a larger umbrella or a larger water bottle.Third, a phone pocket ontop, similar to the tumi line for better access/retrieval.Fourth, better smoother zipper. these are okay, could slide smoother like butter.Fifth, in the computer area, give me a zipper iPAD pocket, that way I may choose to store my other things zipped up if I wish. Conclusion:I recommend a buy for travel with this backpack. Its quality and size makes it attractive to navigate the busy areas. With the rise of, on plane theft, I would like to see briggs and riley come out with more secure refinements. Not asking for over the top security, asking for minimal deterrents, that will slow would be thieves.

Pricey but worth it
If you are looking for a bag that you can stuff to the seams to minimize check-in luggage fees, this is not the bag for you, but if you are looking for a well structured, compact backpack with convenient pockets (including a long horizontal one on the back that allows for easy access to passports, IDs, or tickets, while safely carrying a laptop, large iPad, two cell phones, multiple chargers, standard sized book, travel pillow, blanket, scarf, travel cardigan or jacket, flip flop to switch into for the long flights, and snacks, this bag fits the bill. I have many bags for work (including luxury brand totes costing thousands), and thought I’d use this for travel only, but I now use it now as my daily work bag. Definitely worth the price.
