Healthy Warm Mist Humidifiers for Bedroom, 3L/100oz Stainless Steel Humidifier Easy Clean, Dishwasher Safe, Simple Use, Sleep Mode and Steam Humidifers

I can’t sing enough praises for this humidifier. For years I’ve gone through several different Vicks humidifiers. The classic hot steam that need salt in the water to get a good vapor and have corroding coils… or the tank steam types that after a while bust a seal and lose their ability to hold water and one day dump water all over the table. And cool must don’t do jack because cool air can’t hold humidity. So I took a chance on this unit liking the fact that it was a stainless steel tank that isn’t likely to leak and with no coils, won’t corrode in a few uses.So far it’s the best thing ever! Like everyone says, it functions a lot like a rice cooker. Heck I bet you could put a steam basket in the thing and pull off a decent meal. It’s super super quiet, has two humidity output levels with a long run time before the tank needs refilled, easy to clean asks sanitize without bleach or toothbrushes to reach difficult areas, won’t mold unless you really really try and never clean it, a timer, locking ability… amazing!! Keeps my humidity in my large bedroom over 60% if I want. In my dry arid climate… humidity is a must.

Returned it after two weeks of using it. As an avid humidifier user I have had many different kinds if humidifiers. We purchased this one because of their selling point of using steam, sanitation / cleanliness, and ease to clean.Problem #1 - Immediately we noticed first day of use this is hands down the loudest and awkward sounding humidifier we’ve ever used. It makes a mixture of light crackling / creaking / water dripping sounds that makes it very uneasy to sleep next to. Despite the sounds we decided to give it a go as we were fairly happy with the steam it released and the safety hardware features built into the humidifier.After three days of use, we took the inside can + lid out to clean it. It is indeed very easy as the water holding can + lid pops right out and you can clean / boil / wash them easily. We always use distilled or filtered water for the humidifier, we only use tap water for washing / sanitizing it. But even after a week of using it we noticed there were a bit of white mineral build up happening.Red flag : After about 10 days of usage we noticed the remaining water in the humidifier was slightly brown and we have no clue where that brown color came from as we couldn’t find any signs of rusting or mold like marks on the can and the lid which are the only pieces instructed to take out for cleaning.We cleaned + boiled the can and the lid to make sure they were both fully sanitized, tried it for one more day and we got the same result of brownish water remaining at the very bottom. As we are using filtered distilled water the only place that could be making the water discolor are the upper area which cannot be disassembled easily unless without tools.So After two weeks of using we decided to return it. It missed the mark for us in all its selling points.. The noise it makes was our first red flag. We thought it was easy to clean but apparently not because we wouldn’t be having brownish water at the end of our use with distilled water. Above all the biggest red flag was we did not feel this humidifier was sanitary to use. For all these reasons I would not recommend this humidifier to anyone.

This may be a smaller humidifier but it performs like a larger unit would. It’s quiet, and also has a sleep mode which will turn the lights off which is a great feature for a bedroom. This has helped so much for our respiratory problems and we are very comfortable in our dry, desert home. We did have one issue but as soon as I contacted Jack & Rose they took care of the issue and sent a whole new unit out! You won’t find better customer service anywhere. The humidifier also has a clean mode and the inside is stainless steel making for easy and sanitizing cleanup. I’m very happy and impressed with this humidifier.

I LOVE this vaporizer/humidifier. No filters needed, boils the water, so no germs, simple design so not a lot of places for mold to grow/hide. Yes, I have lots of sediment in my water, so I sometimes use tap, sometimes filtered depending on my motivation...but regardless, I simply take the steel tank out daily and give it a quick clean with soap and water...or vinegar or a little lemon juice if there's any hard to remove sediment...and it comes right off with minimal work if you use lemon or vinegar. Don't wait a month to clean it as some have done, of course it will start to look nasty if you do that...nothing is perfect. The steam it creates is not as plentiful as I'd like, but it's good enough for one room. Don't expect it to humidify a house. Yes, it takes time to get the steam (30 min., which is clearly stated by the company), so just plan ahead a bit... think we've all gotten too used to needing instant results. 30 min is not that long to get clean humidity. I will agree with others who say this is probably not the best for use in a child's room since you are dealing with steam heat and the unit itself gets a bit hot...so if a child manages to open it, it could be a burn concern.Best is their customer support...could not have been kinder, more patient, or more responsive when I had questions and an issue.If all these things sound good to you, don't hesitate to purchase this unit! :)
