Setting the whole system up takes a bit of patience but it’s worth it. The trick is to use hot water as recommended by the manufacturer to soften the tubing. Without doing that, it would be very difficult to fit the tubing onto the connectors.Setting the timer is easy and you can customize it to fit your needs. I used this in my small greenhouse while on vacation. All the plants were in fine shape upon my return. It is definitely worth getting.

Ordered this for my wife for Christmas 2023. Set it up in May 0f 2024. The buttons stopped working in March of 2025. The unit still worked but at the default settings, not the settings I wanted to enter. I contacted their customer service who requested a video of the problem. After I sent them the video , they immediately sent me a complete new unit. I gave them a 5 rating because when it worked correctly, it worked great. I'm hoping that I originally got a lemon and the new unit will perform as well as the older unit did. So far it does.

This purchase is for my second one. I have the older model and I can say this one is an improvement. I needed a second one because we expanded from just starting seeds in the winter to also bringing in some of the garden plants to be sure they survive the winter.To start, this model is a very nice upgrade from the older version. Both work well, but this model is much simpler to set up and get working.I now have two of these getting water from one 5 gallon bucket.Programming is easy. Getting the clock and scheduler set up takes less than 2 minutes. It has a battery backup so things stay on schedule in case of a power outage. This is teally nice when you are on vacation.While I think this is a great product, there are two things that they could do better.First is they don't include a power supply. They give you a USB cable and that's all. I can't imagine anyone being ok with getting this and finding out you need to purchase a 5v 1 amp supply just to get it to work. Sad.Second is the drip devices. These work well, but they are a bit limited. They are basically strips you stick in the dirt and connect the water tube to. However, the expectation is that every plant needs the exact same amount of water. You can't adjust them. You can add a second or more drip lines, but that just complicates things.Even with these issues I still think this is an excellent product.First, know you need to buy a 5v 1amp USB plug, but you may already have a spare in a drawer somewhere.Second is you should purchase a separate set of watering posts. I found a set that use the same 1/4 inch line. They have a knob to let you adjust how much water each plant gets. This is much smarter, and I hope they add this to this product soon.Again, I have no regrets and if I ever need a third unit, or a replacement, I'd get another one of these.

a great customizable timer watering system. It works with almost any arrangement and the timer makes watering a unique as your set up. Be sure to note that all the plants have to be OK getting the same amount of water (there is not a dual watering function). That said, this products is cheap, easy to use, reliable and customizable, so it get 5 stars form me.

Works great when its setup but have had it now for about 2 months and over that time I have found that the settings have reset to factory about 4 times now causing the automation to overwater. I only noticed this because I saw that the water level in my tank had gone down dramatically. Resetting the time and all the rest of the settings takes a couple of minutes, but it's unfortunate that it seems to be an issue that it's not keeping the settings saved properly. Be warned to check your settings frequently and make sure that you do not have the same problem. And yes, I'm using new batteries and have changed them once already too.

I set this up to keep my plants alive while I was gone for a few months. The system was simple to put together and program. I followed the water usage guide in the manual to estimate how much water I'd need for a light watering every few days and then filled a large plastic tub as the reservoir. A friend stopped by every few weeks to refill the water and confirmed with me that all my plants were happy and healthy. Now that I'm home, I'm maintaining the setup because it's so easy!

Works really good when it works. I'm happy at lasted two seasons but wish it had lasted more. The main pros are that it has a strong pump and never gives up. The cons are plastic that deteriorates (snapped off one of the fittings making it useless) and the clear lines lead to algae growth. See pictures

I was hesitant to buy this at first. Hemmed and hawed about it for at least a month. Even after I got it home I didn't set it up right away, thinking that I would ruin the tubing by cutting it incorrectly or not getting the settings correct and making a mini-flood in the living room. I skimmed the directions and thought Oh Boy, these are a little intimidating.The directions were a bit hard to understand at first, but then I realized I just needed to weed out what I really needed to know. After I did that it was all downhill.It's all put together now, after doing the first and second plant the rest was really easy.The dial on the machine turned out to be self explanatory. Just a hint, the first time you text it you probably will find some of the tubing connections are not tight enough, this is easy to fix, though I probably wouldn't test it over anything you don't want to get dripped on.Anyway, long story short, (yep I know, too late), it works so well I bought a second one.
