A book to cherish and share.
A delightful book; beautifully illustrated and with a wonderful message about homes and shelters. Above all the message, delivered in simple and imaginative verse emphasises the safety and security a home fosters and generates with loved ones. The detailed drawings are full of interesting animals and items to name and talk about. Children will love to engage in the reading experience and talk about the pictures. The simple, rhythmic words in poetic language will maintain the child’s attention and interest.A wonderful book to share with special little ones with a great deal of learning outcomes delivered indirectly through a magical and colourful book.

Amazing book
"A home can be" covers so many subjects relating to a child's environment. I use it in my Forest School sessions but other practitioners have asked to use it as well.Lovely illustrations and the words can be understood by the children. Perfect, thank you so much.

Beautiful Book of Homes
As a teacher-librarian, I am delighted to share my thoughts on this remarkable book. Its aesthetic beauty captivates the reader, with illustrations that intricately weave into a rhyming narrative. This book serves as an invaluable resource for lessons on diverse topics such as hibernation, habitats, communities, climate, and climate change. Through the depiction of various homes from around the world, including underground dwellings, treehouses, and even those nestled upon animals' backs, students can explore the rich tapestry of human and animal living spaces. Moreover, the book's conclusion offers a heartwarming message that prompts discussions on important social issues, such as homelessness. It eloquently conveys how a home transcends mere physical structures, emphasizing the profound significance of love and human connection. For educators seeking to enrich their teaching resources, this book is a treasure trove. Its engaging content and thought-provoking themes make it an indispensable addition to any library or classroom collection.

A perfect book that captivates both the parent , and the child!
"A Home Can Be" is a wonderful book that takes us on a journey, and keeps us hovering right above the home we are reading about . Both the writing , and illustrations are compelling, and encompassing! I loved not only all the various types of homes, and shelters, using both people and animals , which gives us a much wider scope of knowledge of the various habitats around the world. The last section , the journey through the alphabetically is another trip, which can is it's own book ! This is one book you will want to read again ,and again!

Enchanting Story
This story has enchanting and captivating images and story! It was so sweet and really taught kids about how there are so many different types of homes out there. I was also pleasantly surprised when I saw at the end of the story a list of A-Z of all the different types of habitats and homes!

Wow! What a wonderful book!
After seeing this book in a facebook page I jumped right to Amazon to order it, and wow, I am so happy I did. Parents and teachers alike should grab this book, if for no other reason than its a cute story about homes with beautiful illustrations. However, I work both in ECE environments and in elementary education and I can already see myself reaching for this book for all sorts of different things. To start off, the illustrations are gorgeous! The book touches on animals, insects, under water creatures, and of course humans. I can see it being a great introduction to things like community, environment (i.e animal habitats, different types of living things -plants, animals, insects, etc, environmental awareness, and more!), building things (for example, even for upper elementary, using this as a gateway for a science unit about building things and types of structures or thinking outside the box), introducing some vocabulary for Indigenous peoples and a sense of how diverse they can be in terms of where they live, and more. And of course, there is some really great rhyming and vocabulary that could be used for all sorts of age groups - for example in ECE, words like sturdy, for early elementary; rhyme schemes and patterns, for upper elementary; using the the homes from A-Z at the back of the book and discussing different cultures, materials, parts of the world, animals, etc.Thank you for posting online about your book ladies! Wonderful job! I will 100% be sharing this book with people I know and work with.
