Scuba Diving Flashlight Dive Torch 2000 Lumen Waterproof Underwater XM-L2 LED Submarine Lights Holder with Charger for Under Water Deep Sea Cave at Night

This is 3rd of these Genwiss dive lights that I've bought. Sure, it costs a bit more than others on Amazon. But in this case, the extra cost is worth it. I've taken this light underwater, dropped it on tile floor, run it for hours, and it keeps working. Aside from the quality aluminum construction, it seems to run longer on a single battery than other cheaper 2-battery LED flashlights. It must have a more efficient LED chip. The waterproof rotating switch takes a bit of getting used to, but the switch seems totally waterproof and makes sense. Also, don't be put off by lack of adjustable beam. The reflector design is pretty innovative, as it casts a focused center beam that really carries, but also produces a lighter peripheral beam as well. In effect, a spotlight and flood light in one. Recommend it.

This flashlight is super bright on the high setting, it lights up my whole backyard. It also has a medium and low setting for normal use, plus a flash and an SOS setting for emergency signaling. All the settings are easily used by sliding the switch to the desired setting. I love how it is waterproof so I don’t have to worry about it getting wet in a downpour. It comes with its own battery charger and the included battery lasts a very long time. This is a quality light that should last a long time.

This little dive torch surprised the heck out of me. At a price point under $40dollars I thought I was wasting my money, but I’m happy to say it was $38 dollars well spent. Iv been on 25 dives with it so far and have not had a single problem with it. I did what the instructions said and greased the orings before the first dive and charged the battery that came with it. The first 3 dives with the light were all about an hour long and I did not go deeper than 30ft. Dive 4 and 5 the deepest depth was 45ft. And dives 6 through 8 I got down to 80ft. After that they were between 10ft and 90 foot dives All dives were about an hour long, each dive I paid close attention to see if the torch dimmed as the dive progressed and it really didn’t it may have been a little dimmer at the end of the dive but not really noticeable. I used the 18650 battery that came with the torch and also another from another torch Alternating them each dive. I charged them after each dive. The torch never flooded or showed any sign of water inside the torch after the dive. The brightness of the torch is very bright but I don’t think it really is 3000 lm But I have no way to test it. . I tried to use the charger that came with the torch but when it said the batt. was fully charged I switched the battery to one of my more higher end charger with a volt meter and it wasn’t fully charged it charged on the other charger for another 30 minutes. The leash is junk and the hole on the back of the light that the leash runs through is really small so I took a drill to it and made the hole a bit bigger and put a proper bolt snap on it. The Magnetic swivel switch seems a bit cheep they say you can rotate the switch in any direction clockwise or counter clockwise but you can tell it really only likes to go clockwise, but after a few dives it does feel a lot better and going in either direction doesn’t matter. The machining must have been not all that great on the switch and it needed to work it self in a bit. The threads for the battery cap could be cross threaded easily so you have got to be careful when you take the cap on and off and when I got my light there was still some aluminum shavings in the threads from when they were cut. So I had to clean it really good or it would have either messed up the threads or tore the orings and the light would flood. But in saying all that you are still getting a dive torch with over a 1000lm for $38dollars that works really good. I dive in water that has less than 6inches of visibility 95% of the time and I have used this light as my primary with my normal primary as a back up all season. It has not let me down yet. Besides for the few things iv said about it I can’t find one major thing wrong with it. For what I paid for it I love this torch.

Update: the company reached out to me and replaced the original light I received stating that it was defective. I have used the replacement light on multiple dives now with no issue, and it is truly a great light. One of the other divers on my most recent trip had the light as well and loved it. It’s the brightest light in the water by far at this price point. I bought a different light for backup that was much pricier and is not even close to this brightness. Highly recommend and will be purchasing a 2nd for backup.The At first glance this is a 5 star product. I used it for the first time on a 140ft dive and it worked perfectly. Super bright and lightweight. 2nd dive, same story. 3rd dive (all in day 1 of using this), the light is no longer bright and turns on and off unexpectedly when it’s on the brightest setting. I couldn’t find any water inside so not sure what caused it to change so quickly, but will be returning.

Replaced my old light with this one. It's twice as bright as the old one. Can't wait for my next night dive.

I thought this was going to be a great light for SCUBA; especially for the price. The construction seemed solid, the control operated smoothly. It threw a nice amount of light. Really enjoyed it on a very cool dive.Yesterday I tried to use it a second time and it lasted about a minute. Now the green power light comes on, but the LED doesn't fire. It didn't seem to leak; the battery was dry when I took it out. Really would have been nice to have a light for the poor visibility conditions yesterday(and today for that matter.)I can't afford to dive very often, so the 30 day return window feels a bit short. I think I'm at day 43. uggh!

after 2 times diving, the switch did not work. The battery was full but the light was on-off during 3rd time dive, and finally could not turn on. now it is completely dead. I did search the manufacturer's contact for service or help but it was impossible to find.REVISED reviewthe manufacturer contacted me with an apology and sent me a replacement. I am not sure mine was just a defect but its customer service was much better than I thought. so I revised the star to 3. I will test a new one again. if same problem happen, I will post it again.

Works great, tight narrow beam. Battery last 1.5 hours. I've taken it on around 30 dives as deep as 100ft.
