I’m loving this shredder!!! My old shredder broke a few weeks ago, so I went on a search for a replacement. I looked at several different models, watched multiple videos and read multiple reviews to help me make a decision. I’m not disappointed with my choice. In fact, I’m thrilled! It handles multiple pages without hesitation. With my old shredder, when shredding junk mail that was more than one piece of paper in an envelope, I had to open the envelope and shred each page separately. Now with this new shredder, I can feed a thick junk mail envelope though it all at once and it shreds without hesitation. It shreds into small bits which provides more security than my precious shredder that produced thin strips. The shredder basket pulls out from the front which makes it easier and safer to use. It shuts off automatically after it completes the shredding. The noise level is not too bad. My old one was much louder. This shredder is a good value for the money and is excellent for home use. I highly recommend this shredder for anyone looking for a solid shredder for home use.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this based on customer reviews and features of the item. It works really well. We also picked up some pre-greased sheets to run through every month. This really does a great job shredding papers. It's so easy to use. It will cut for 60 minutes or so before you need to cool it down. It shreds your CDs, credit cards, staples and even clips. I'm so happy not having to remove those metal items. It has a big bin for all that waste. Overall, it's been working great and we have no complaints. I've used the other shredders that only run for a few minutes and then scream they are overheating. The last one screamed overheat and then died. I put a ton of paper through this the first day and it still ran the next day.

It does the job as advertised. It fits easily under my desk and easily rolls for easy access. I do wish the rollers would lock because it moves too easily as is. It's a little noisier than I expected. It cuts the paper into small pieces (micro cut) providing great security. It comes with a large bin with a clear plastic window so you can see when it's full. It is a great value.

I am very pleased with this micro-cut shredder for my daily home use. It is well made, has a sturdy pull-out basket, and simple & effective controls. It is surprisingly quiet, & after each shred batch, a fan at the back runs a short time to cool the shredder. I have not pushed it to the max, but used it for 50 minutes, max 10 sheets (I did not try 12 sheets or the full 60 minutes)), & it did great. It did struggle a bit at 50 minutes as the motor noise increased somewhat. I suggest staying to the 85% the product manual suggests with a few exceptions. It gobbled up envelopes of junk mail & made tiny chips out of two credit cards. If it holds up well, which only time will tell, I will no longer miss my old Fellowes 60cs that died at 12 years.

The Bonsaii shredder is clearly a major step up from the ordinary home type shredder handing tough jobs with ease. I had difficulty deliberately causing it to jam by feeding too much paper. rated at 12 sheets and it can handle that. +12 still works. Easy pull out storage Bin with spacious room for a lot of paper. The shred itself is micro squares really through at hiding print which is the main point of a shredder. Surprised at the LOW noise level during shredding. Number of pages does not increase noise. Safety features - if Bin is not secure will not start. LED indicators for overheat, & paper jam.TEST #2 - shredded copy paper 8-12 sheets at at time for 45 minutes non-shop. Unit handled it without complaint. 35lbs shredded paper.Test #3 Shreds fine old plastic expired credit cards

It works as it should. Very little noise. Very convenient pull out trash bin with handle is easily to empty. Reasonably priced.

Love it so far. Works like a charm. Quiet and shrewd a nicely.

In November 2022, I made the unfortunate decision of purchasing a Bonsaii 240 Minutes 18 Sheet Paper 3S30 Shredder, hoping for a reliable and durable product. At first, it seemed like a great investment, but after just four months of use, the shredder completely stopped working. What a disappointment!Naturally, I reached out to the warranty department, expecting a prompt and efficient resolution to the issue. Little did I know that this would be the beginning of a frustrating and seemingly endless ordeal. On March 29, 2023, I initiated contact with the warranty department, clearly explaining the problem with the shredder. I emphasized that it had abruptly stopped working while I was in the middle of shredding a file. No lights, no sounds—it was completely lifeless.Hoping for a quick solution, I followed their instructions diligently. I sent them a video demonstrating my attempts to revive the shredder, including plugging it into the wall, turning on the power switch, and pressing the start button. Additionally, I provided all the requested information, such as serial numbers, manufacture dates, proof of purchase, and a shipping address for the replacement shredder.However, despite my efforts, it is now June 14, 2023, and I am still without a functioning shredder. Throughout the past few months, I have repeatedly reached out to the warranty department, only to be met with constant requests to troubleshoot the shredder. The infuriating part is that the shredder has absolutely no power—it will not turn on, no matter what I try.This entire experience has been an exercise in frustration, with the warranty department failing to deliver on their promises. It is deeply disheartening to see a company that initially appeared reputable and dependable turn out to be so unhelpful and unresponsive.I strongly caution anyone considering purchasing a Bonsaii product to think twice. If this is the level of customer service and quality they provide, it is not worth the risk. I sincerely regret my decision to buy the Bonsaii 240 Minutes 18 Sheet Paper Shredder, and I hope this review serves as a warning to others. Save yourself the trouble and look for a more reliable brand that stands behind their products and offers satisfactory customer support.UPDATE - 07-13-2023Today I received a replacement shredder. I honestly had given up on getting a replacement. It is the exact model and is shredding away. I have adjusted my review to four stars. The shredder worked great when it worked. The long replacement delay has kept me from giving it five stars. If this one stops working I will update my review again.
