I needed a video camera pronto!I was not expecting a top-of-the-line product - I only needed something to fulfill 1 purpose. I feel as though I got more than that.My Mom had a stroke a year ago, and she's improved greatly, but there are some things she will never regain her ability for.We've worked hard to help her get this far, but we realize that we didn't work as hard as she did.To add fuel to the proverbial fire, my Dad has been diagnosed with cancer in multiple areas of his body.I knew I needed to put together a set of questions so I could learn more about them while I have the chance, & that I wanted to capture it on video.As you'll see in many of my reviews, I make mention of the fact that I'm a burn survivor, & I no longer have fingers. This adds another facet to the type of camera I needed. Something inexpensive, somewhat fool proof (and accident proof!), easy to manipulate, & able to produce a decent end result. I set up a short tripod right beside my place at the kitchen table, & we did our Q&A session there during dinner, so everyone would be able to relax & answer "off the cuff" more freely. I got great results, and I think we all had a nice time having the discussion - and I learned SO MUCH of what I was hoping to while I was still able to do so! It also led to other little side-discussions, & we all had some good laughs together.As I said, it's actually geared toward children, so it's not a top-of-the-line Sony or anything like that - but it did what I wanted it to, and I don't regret buying it for a single second!

Overall good product for the price. Some complained about the compartment being hard to open, I did not find this overly difficult at all. Opening and closing seemed reasonably easy for a camera that can go underwater, which requires tight seals. The picture quality is excellent and worth what you pay for the camera. Although I am not any kind of photographer, just trying to capture some memories on beach vacations. If you want top notch picture quality you will need to spend significantly more than they are asking here. I am using it for a beach vacation with snorkeling and fishing excursion so being able keep a overpriced smart phone away from the water. I would definitely be the one to drop my phone to the bottom of the ocean. I am accident prone when it comes to electronics. That makes for an easy yes when the kids want to play with it. Totally worth it for the price so an easy 5 Stars

Was a birthday gift for grandson & he loves it, he uses it often.

Bought this for a raft trip down the Colorado River. Kept in my pocket and it definitely got wet but never submerged. In 48 hrs it showed signs of internal moisture and stopped working. Dried it out and would still not boot up. Tried charging and there were some icons on the screen but no function. Would not buy. Spend money on a better camera or good waterproof case for your phone

For a cheap camera this camera takes great photos, even at night. Bought it to replace an old Samsung camera that we bought 13 years ago that finally died.
