This is my second Cache Cap. I really liked the first one, but the hook and loop closures on the pockets is a fantastic improvement. I treat my hats roughly. The first one (3 years old and worn everyday in every season) has a frayed brim, and faded color (made the mistake of machine washing on hot a few times), but is still a good cap. The pockets are roomy and well placed. There's no top button. The sweatband works perfectly. Sizing is quick and the strap is very sturdy. I buy these as gifts for my friends and they love them too!

I was really excited about getting this product. However at first glance I was a little skeptical. Once I started opening the pockets and realized how much stuff I could put in the Hat I was amazed. I have cash, two paper clips, two clothes pins, two hooks a couple of small weights and some fishing line, and plenty of first aid gear. It even has a little slot under the brim that I put a couple of Band-Aids in. Also, depending on how you arrange the items you can barely feel it and hardly see it unless someone points it out to them. All of my friends joke on me for being an EDC guy but when I showed him this hat they were pretty impressed. It's definitely worth the money I carry it with me everywhere I travel. Travel light everyone.

I like the addition of Velcro on the pockets in the head space - material is slightly thinner which is a plus as well. Reflective strips on the inside are an aFred improvement. Would like to see more colours tbh. Good sized brim. Don’t know how sturdy the Velcro is at the back to tighten.

This hat has one problem that is causing two issues. This thing is tight. I wear a 7 1/4 on most hats, so I don't have the biggest head. This thing sits very high on my head. It looks very awkward and if you're trying to blend in with this hat...not going to work very well. Before I state the second issue that this problem causes, I do have to state that I love the material of the hat and the stitching. It is very well made and that is why I am giving it 3 stars instead of 1. The second issue is that it sits so tight on my head that you can see anything that I put in the pockets while worn thus defeating the entire purpose of the hat. This hat does fit my wife and sons' heads fairly well, so if you're looking for something for them, this is a good shout. However, not large enough for most grown men.

I got this cap for the purposes that it is to be used for, and it is well worth what you pay, considering that you can carry so much in it in a dire and dangerous situation [survival or non].

Excellent for keeping the glare out on a bright sunny day which is common in Arizona. Pockets are useful for a house key or vehicle key, drivers license, and or atm card. Light weight material is breathable to keep cool. Combination of bright and reflective material useful if you get lost.

Let me start off by saying the pockets on the updated version are awesome. To me, functionally speaking, it's on point. Especially if your a fan of Grimworkshop such as my self. It can hold quite a bit of gear if you pack it right and don't add large items. My problem with it is it seems to be kind of... Small. And this catches me off guard because I've never had this problem in a hat before. I actually have a relatively small head. But even without items in it, it seems to not fully set on my head if that makes since. It doesn't hug so to speak. Idk if I received a defective one, or if they are using less material, or if this is just how they are, but for the cost, I'm just not entirely impressed with it. Very disappointing. And BTW, if your looking to carry many small items, the Wazoo Cache Belt is the way to go. I've been rocking their belt for a couple of years now and it's freaking amazing!

Too expensive, but hubby loves it.

I put most of my clothes through extensive wear tear and repeat washes. It is up to the test. Velcro for size adjustment could be a little better but does the job

The fastening for the inside pocket is just hook and loop anything weighty would fall out of it a slip of paper or a banknote would be fine in an emergency but i wouldnt put anything with any sort of weight in there, as a hat it does whats needed
