I baught 2 of these boxes as I have to travel frequently on trains to hospital appointments.Having a special diet eating while out can be difficult at time.This box is the perfect size to fit in my bag.Keeps my food fresh and the separate air tight seal holds plenty for a good meal.Being compact is an advantage too.I'd highly recommend this box.

The media could not be loaded.  The thing I like most about this, is that I can separate everything, and the sections have a decent amount of space to make it easy to plan a decent lunch.The colour is also nice, the dark on light brown looks good I think, and gives a nice calm aesthetic.The cutlery is very useful, and it feels nice and strong, the knife can actually cut food, and the fork “tongs” are strong enough to push into food too, so that makes the set far more useful.All in all, the “Space” provided, the quality of the plastics, and silicone seals, that work great, and the cutlery, make this a very useful “Bento Box” in my opinion.

The “1450ml Bento Box” from “Yirochan” is a reasonably good-quality Bento Box style lunchbox with sectioned off compartments and a handy spoon, fork and knife section.The Bento Box is manufactured from a high-quality and robust food-grade plastic which is both microwave and dishwasher safe.The top compartment lid fits together with a quality seal which runs around all of the sectioned off areas to keep liquids and sauces watertight inside and prevents them from creeping into the different compartments. The box also has strong hard-plastic locking-clips on the two ends. These clip down to deliver a very strong grip keeping the lid and the various compartment sections held together well and very unlikely to accidentally open.The overall quality of the manufacture is excellent. The plastic used is incredibly hard-wearing and durable and will no doubt last many years’ worth of regular use. There’s also very little chance this thing will get damaged easily. Every section is solidly made and of a durable construction.There’s plenty of space within the various sectioned off compartments for a hearty lunch. What’s good is you can put say spaghetti or pasta in the bottom larger compartment and then whatever topping / sauce you want in the other sections.I’ve been using this for my lunches for the past week and have found it great. It’s so easy to keep clean, the inside plastic doesn’t seem to stain easily from keeping sauces in it. It’s also compact but gives you plenty of space for a good-sized lunch. Love it!

I regret buying it

You can put sandwiches in this thing, but they need to be cut correctly with standard sized bread. It's far better suited to loose foodstuffs. Things like pasta, rice, noodles, fruit, veg etc. which is great for me as it's typically what I eat. Yeah I eat sandwiches too but it's easier to prepare your lunch for the next day when making your regular meals at home, by just making a little extra. I suppose you could pre-prepare your entire week of lunches in a single batch at the weekend. It's far cheaper than buying dedicated, single-serving portions of lunchables, healthier too and with less waste going to landfill.There are three tiers and the fact it has a dedicated cutlery makes it very much more a complete package that's portable.If you eat at your desk or at a table in a cafeteria this lunchbox comes into it's own. You can unstack the tiers lay them out for what essentially is your own private buffet, complete with cutlery. Once done just reseal, restack and you're done.It's easy enough to wash, although make sure you wash the valve seals on top of each lids properly. Seems fine in the microwave too, just don't go nuking your kippers in the staff kitchen because everyone else in the office will secretly hate you for it ... and rightly so. Those people need to eat outdoors, over there, no further over there, even further, beyond the horizon if you please, keep going until you hit pack-ice Kevin!All in all it's a good lunch box system. Well made of sturdy plastic and is configurable to your needs. You have to carry all tiers though for it to click together. That's not a major drawback given the overall size though.
