Rockport Cobb Hill Women's Ireland CH Enclosed Dress Sandal

I've bought this Ireland model of a Cobb Hill shoe in other colors. It's well made. The sole is highly cushioned. The strap will fit over a high arch. The rear zipper is great - just get the strap correct once and then never have to fiddle with the buckle again, great for people with finger finesse challenges. Great to have a covered toe in the summer - don't have to worry about the pedicure - I got Khaki - the color is not similar to my khaki pants but I'd hate to try to ascribe a different name to it - the online representation of the color is pretty accurate. I actually buy slightly bigger and slightly wider shoes if there's a good strap to adjust sizing - it helps off-set the usual difference in size between your feet and a little extra size is helpful in the summer if you experience feet swelling. It's not a cheap shoe but you pay for what you get and this is worth the money! Comfort with decent style - a hard combination to find!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE these shoes. Not only are they adorable, the feel AMAZING on. They are light and airy, but the heel is so well cushioned, there is no jar from the strike of each step. The construction is high quality, durable yet delicate. The sole is firm but supportive. The leather upper is thin and not at all restrictive. These didn't need to be broken in at all.The size was just a tad large, which was a surprise considering how many reviews said they ran small. I usually wear between a 5.5 - 6 and I ordered a 6. There was just a little room around my foot which just served to keep my feet cool and unrestricted. It was ideal. I wore these walking miles all over Europe every day in August and never had a single problem. In fact, they were more comfy than my athletic shoes!Also, I love the heel zipper, which I initially took to be decorative. It's actually really functional: using that instead of the strap to take them on and off means less wear and tear over time on the strap. There is a nice flap over the zipper on the inside to prevent rubbing. Also, the color is vibrant and beautiful. These make every outfit a statement.

These shoes are super comfortable and I've received multiple compliments. I love the color on them. I also love the fact that if you look at them from the top they look like t-strap heels but without having to mess with the heels part. When on they feel like sneakers. The bottoms are very cushioned and the leather body is very soft so was comfortable from day 1 without a breaking in period.I didnt give 5 stars because of 2 things. 1) the backs have a zipper which is intended to make it so you dont have to rebuckle all the time but it makes a jingly noise when walking and can sometimes get caught on my chair if i sit cross-legged. 2) my feet tend to run warm and the lining of the shoe while comfortable and cushy is not very breathable.I usually wear between size 9.5 and 10 and have wide-ish feet (can usually get away with non-wide shoes depending on the style). I ordered a 10 in these and they fit perfectly.

I wear mostly Mephisto, Dansko, Naot, and the like yet I have found Rockport to be a comfortable line also. The Cobb Hill "Ireland" Enclosed Dress Sandal is a keeper for me. I do not often see a closed-toe sandal and this fisherman style is perfect for casual to dressy casual. I also normally do not wear a flat-flat due to my age and lumbar pain but I believe these are going to work. The insole padding feels great and seems to have a very slight built-up arch support. The leather quality is all right, it seems sturdy for longer wearing. The outer sole and slight heel seem of a long-wearing quality as well. As to size - normally I use 11 M (regular width) but I got a VERY nice Warehouse buy on 11 W (wide width). I decided to try them becasue some brands or models runs too short or tight and since sizing up from an 11 is not really an option, a wider width can accommodate the fit. This wide width is quite generous not only in width but also in length and the circumference of the ankle strap. I can wear them because the ankle strap will hold them on, otherwise I would walk out of them. So I am guessing becasue the wide width in my own size is so oversize that the regular width shoe would be a very comfortable, roomy fit. I am going to have to put an extra hole in the ankle strap about 1 to 1.5 inches off the last hole. For a $99 shoe it is a 5-star love affair.

Very pretty shoes that will require a "break in period" involving splicing the toe box of these 10 wide shoes to the heels of the 10 medium or average width shoe... just kidding.The inside of the shoe back what with the zipper is amazing! It is just too roomy to coordinate with the front interior of the shoe. My toes would be clinging to hold onto the super loose heels. Not much support. Linings aggressive and will make blisters even with a better fit. Shoes have a charming style for any age woman best left to younger women due to lack of comfort in the design.I will stick with my Rockport Mary Jane 1.5" heels for dressy no socks days instead of exchanging for a 10 medium width.Plus the new Crocs shoe on my left foot is suddenly looking so much more dressy than this Rockport. Sadly these go back!Thank you Amazon Prime!
