The ONLY book you will ever need to get a truly holistic and healthy life!
By far the most holistic and balanced approach to living a life of health and well being! What I like about this book is that it approaches health holistically. Like many women (men too I guess), I have spent so much time and money and brain space trying to figure out how to look good. I dieted a lot! But over the past few months I’ve been reading and re-reading this book and the messages are slowly sinking in. There’s so much more to health than what the scale says. I mean, I know we all say that, but Dr. Nandi is actually convincing me that it’s true. That’s where the holistic thing comes in. Now I’m starting to choose foods that will fuel my body well, not just meet a certain calorie count. And I’ve been meditating (which was hard at first, but I’m getting the hang of it) and taking time to de-stress. And that whole thing about having a tribe for support was interesting to me because I don’t think I really valued my tribe in the ways he describes, but now I’m starting to. So all that to say, don’t buy another diet book. Buy this one instead and get a truly healthy life, in every way.

It is an easy read, he has great stories about his own ...
Dr. Nandi's book is something I will refer back to over and over again. I find it fascinating that a medical doctor is addressing the entire person MIND BODY and SPIRIT. There may still be hope for western doctors!!! I have tried out his simple steps and they really work (which surprised me because simple in my mind doesn't seem powerful but it is).It is an easy read, he has great stories about his own life, great recipes, practical examples of how to succeed. He shares fascinating research on how things like meditation and having a sense of purpose change us on a cellular level. Just a fantastic book that I would recommend to anyone looking not just for health advice but just ways to bring more joy into their lives...and who doesn't want that?Everyone in my family will be getting a copy for Christmas. Can't think of a better present.Awesome read.

He is the only mdeical doctor I know who is telling us to live in a way so that we depend less and less on meddical doctors.A refreshing, holistic approach to living life in health and happiness. Virtually no solid, practical advice
Not worth it. This is a very basic book about eating right. Dr Nandi spends way too much time talking about how brilliant he thinks he is. Too high-level. Virtually no solid, practical advice. Dr Oz is much more specific and helpful.

Take Charge of your Health
Dr. Nandi's book is chock full of wisdom, science and heart. It cuts through the hyperbole around health care and gives the reader a grounded realistic approach that works on many levels. Health is clearly not the result of a one size fits all formula, magic pill or diet. Dr. Nandi's pillars of health provide simple, powerful and effective measures that ring true. I highly recommend it anyone committed to living their best life.

I received my advance hard cover copy of "Ask Dr. Nandi" and after reading this wonderful book, I immediately added it to my Kindle. This beautiful book is filled with mind, body and soul health tips, recipes, exercise action plans, a guided meditation and more! It's a book you can go back to again and again. I absolutely love the chapter "Cultivating the Mind of a #HealthHero", where Dr. Nandi walks you through a guided mediation and teaches the importance of mindfulness as it relates to your over well-being. This book is a keeper!

Fantastic book
I really love this book!! Dr. Nandi breaks down healthy living into five key components: finding your life purpose, healthy eating, movement, tribe, and cultivating your mind. All of the advice he gives is practical and friendly. There are plenty of nuggets of wisdom in these pages. If you're looking for straightforward, practical advice about how to live a happier and healthier life, this book is for you. I plan to read it again.

A life-changer!
I absolutely LOVE this book and wish my teenage self who suffered from chronic illness had met a medical doctor like Partha Nandi. His approach is simple yet profound and really deals with us as a WHOLE person rather than only looking at one aspect of health which is so needed. I highly recommend this book and will be sharing it with everyone I know who wants to improve their health. It's a life-changer for people of all ages!
