This chasing hammer satisfied the need for a domed head, which my other "chasing hammer" did not have. I was getting edge marks on my metal hammerings, and this has taken care of the problem. It is lightweight and comfortable to hold, seems to be strong and hopefully will last well. No complaints from me!

Great tool !Thought it might be too small when I first saw it when unpacking , but soon I changed my mind ,it's in perfect size,not too big , very handy and does Its job. I've hammered 20 gauge to 12 gauge copper wires without any problem. Here is a picture. All I hope is that it lasts long !

While this hammer does an exellent job, it gets dinged and scuffed rather quickly. I noticed it was pretty beat up after several uses on 20gauge wire which isn't supposed to happen... But it's not terribly noticeable so long as you hammer on an angle... still, good product, does the job, was hoping for better quality for the price.

Does not mar my wire. Very happy. It took 3 hammers to finally get one that was domed.

I bought this after purchasing 2 other "Domed" chasing hammers that were not domed. This one Actually is so it's great does what it should and has a nice grip.

Total JUNK!!! This is not a flat head and the head is cheaply made it has burrs and bumps of metal it is not smooth ! Horrible quality. The hammer is super light, no weight in the head at all. Horrible. Do not waste your time with this hammer.
