Got this for wild camping trips, this size is ideal for putting in a side pocket of your rucksack. Flow rate is amazing filled a 1 litre bottle in under 2 minutes. Being able to drink straight from the filter means you don't have to carry large amounts of water. Only downside is the filter only lasts 1000 litres but I might only have to change it once a year.Would highly recommend this for anyone who plans to go wild camping.

Amazing water filter, great for drinking water from the river , however if possible I’ll advise to also boil the water after filtration to drink

great, used it in the french pyrenesse - no issues, folds up easy. Sometimes would slip out of my bottle holder once it's under 3/4 full, so make sure it's fully in there! Overall great bit of kit and super durable/light

Vrry fast flow

A solid choice for hiking and camping, this product comes highly recommended. Consider mesures to prevent freezing in winter, and for long hikes, the Sawyer filter is recommended.

Lightweight, easy to use with wide neck for easy filling and good flow rate compared to other filters.Only downside is it has a non standard thread size so you have to use a katadyn bottle

I bought this to travel to Mexico for an extended trip, as didn’t want to add to plastic pollution buying bottled water every day as well as maybe going trekking with no access to bottled water. Easy to drink from and only adds a bearable (faint) taste to water. I liked how when it was empty it didn’t take up weight/space. Sadly it dropped out of the bungees on the outside of my rucksack early on my trip. I’ll probably get another for my next adventure though

The media could not be loaded. This filter is great !! Fast flow , easy to use , nothing to it !! Stuffs into your pocket or pouch when not in use and you can even drink right out of it !! Just like all others don’t let it freeze !! I take it everywhere ! To clean it’s just swoosh through water and shake clean !!

¡Vamos a ver! Esta es ya la tercera Katadyn BeFree que tengo, y como dicen, a la tercera va la vencida… o la confirmación de que es buenísima 🤩. Pero, ojo al dato, ¡leete las instrucciones! Que no es un champú anticaspa, es una herramienta seria para sobrevivir en el monte 🌲.Te cuento: si la usas bien, es como un ángel guardián que te acompaña en la montaña, viajes o incluso te sirve para beber en esa fuente sospechosa del parque donde el agua tiene más color que sabor. 🚰 Pros: Ligera como una pluma. Super plegable, que la metes en el bolsillo y ni te enteras de que la llevas. El flujo de agua es rapidísimo, que te llena una botella de litro en dos minutos. ¡Si te parece lento es que nunca has usado un filtro!. Ideal para el monte, viajes o cualquier lugar donde no te fíes del agua (porque, seamos sinceros, el agua embotellada en ciertos países es más cara que el oro).Pero ¡cuidado, amigo! No filtra virus. Si bebes de un charco lleno de bichitos microscópicos, no me vengas luego con que te avisé. Esto es para bacterias y parásitos como Giardia y Cryptosporidium, no para convertir agua de alcantarilla en champagne 🍾.Ahora, lo importante: no la dejes congelarse 🥶. Si la llevas al Everest o te olvidas de ella en el maletero en invierno, pues nada, te has quedado sin filtro. Y guárdala limpia, que esto es como los calcetines, que se te olvida lavarlos y al volver a por ellos tienen que ir a la basura.En resumen, si eres de los que les gusta ir de aventurero por el monte o quieres dejar de pagar por botellas de agua cuando viajas, esta es tu chica. Il primo filtro arrivato l'ho dovuto restituire perché l'acqua aveva un fortissimo retrogusto chimico e pizzicava la gola. Problema abbastanza frequente leggendo su interne.Il secondo filtro ricevuto va molto meglio, presenta sempre un retrogusto plasticoso ma è accettabile e sono certo che sparirà con il tempo e l'uso.Per il resto un'incredibile comodità poter camminare in montagna senza il peso dell'acqua che generalmente arriva a 3-4kg per me ed il cane e poter bere tranquillamente da ruscelli o laghi semplicemente quando si ha sete

Der wohl bekannte Sayer Filter hat nun extrem gute Konkurrenz, denn hier wird aus der Quetschtüte einfach eine vollfunktionsfähige Flasche.Ich habe diese nun immer beim Wandern dabei, wenn ich also sowieso eine Flasche brauche. Diese kann man dann aber eben bedenkenlos an vielen Gewässern (bin praktisch nur in den Bergen unterwegs) auffüllen.Und wenn man den Filter leer und unbenötigt dabei hat nimmt er dank Softflask nicht viel Platz weg.Ein Kritikpunkt habe ich jedoch: Der decken wirkt sehr billig und macht keinen stabilen Eindruck, da er nur aus dünnem Plastik besteht, wie man es von vielen PE-Flaschen kennt. Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass dieser bei häufigem Gebrauch irgendwann reist.
