How do you clean this?
Great little unit, quick cooking times, no fancy controls so easy to use straight out of the box. However, as with many of these devices it's almost impossible to keep hygienically clean - especially around the hinges. There are crevices and cracks that harbour food debris and as an electrical device it's not as simple as putting in the dishwasher! I can see no means to disassemble for cleaning so it gets a 1* for that which is a great shame for the general quality of the product.

Brought me back to my teen years. A toasted sandwich is wonderful and I like to add cheese or beansThe plates are non stick so the wipe easily after use and the lid locks closed whilst it cooksThe cable winds away on the base for storageI recommend this as it’s excellent for the price

Small.
Too small, leaks filling, which burns into the cutting edges, which are then difficult to clean. And I only butter in the inside. Disappointing as I’m a Russell Hobbs fan.

RUBBISH, don't waste your money like we did.
This toastie maker is terrible.The pictures make it look like it fits a whole slice of bread which it definitely does not. So much so, that the contents leak out and go everywhere when you pull the lid down.The casing on the inside also scratched off within a week of buying it so the bread stuck to it. Don't even try it, it's not worth it
